Well, one of my best mates jumped from the bridge at Forest Hill, and pretty much everybody from the year turned out to his funeral as he was a very nice bloke and its thought that being bullied because he was short, and a red head were contributing factors. There were a ton of druggies/scum at that school, and the catfood brain kid wouldn't have been missed by anyone apart from his dealer, as he stole from and threatened his folks on many an occasion. The school convent got burnt down, the science labs set alight with all the animals in them, it really was often chaos, some teachers got arrested for making porn films with the students, half the customers from the local bookies were kids from my year..

Thinking of going there to get some action shots, should be fun, what with the right to take photos of the police taken away along with most of our other civil liberties, hopefully the trusty NUJ card will be of use.

BBW, Mr Maylor fell into alcoholism after being very badly beaten by the year before me, and was never the same afterwards. Funniest/shock moment, some kid on acid jumping from the flats opposite the school - funny, turned to shock on seeing his head had become catfood.

Well I get boxed copies of pretty much anything I want for free anyhow, and everyone knows about The Pirate Bay, Demonoid etc, the whole point of the thread was for people who wanted to sort their photos out for free and felt limited by the standard offerings such as Picasa. Anyone can download CS4 for free of course, have fun sifting through the 18 rips of it, verifying the CRC hashes, screwing with your registry, and then having to apply the third patch to stop it being disabled, while I bung in the original disc, make 10 clicks then cook lunch while it installs....

It's pretty easy to integrate an IRC chat room (for those who can't figure out how to install/configure it, or a Shoutbox into a site these days, and its not too much bother to do things like registered nicks either.

Heya Woodie, how you doin man? Talking about positive things/people, you can't get more positive than Woodie! Heard some 20 somethings on the bus the other night talking about the band they were forming, and how hard it was "to get a keyboardist who really *gets* indie keyboard" (whatever that is) and the singer basically credited moving to ED with breaking his writers block. They both had very nice long wool coats too, had a bit of a Withnail and I flashback on seeing them. EDIT and roflmao @ Horsebox!

I can't say too much (NDA etc), and personally, I couldn't care less about it, but I've just been offered a contract to do some translating and touch up on (another!) forthcoming side story to a very popular part VII in a famous series...Don't hold your breath though, it won't be out in a while.

Boring maybe, but its less hassle to spend a couple of hundred quid on shades with high quality glass, than have to go through the hassle of choosing something new each year, guess I prefer function over style, and value my eyesight more than looking sexy...But each to his/her own. What I really hate are women switching from spectacles to contact lenses! Fetish, moi?

If you want to see beautiful and strange, pop into Super Potato, or stalk a member of Clover and marvel at their god like Danmaku (lit. "Bullet Hell") skills. EDIT: "Perfect" stems from the SF series, but to see a really impressive "Perfect" you need to be watching some skilled KOF players.

Man, that sucks! I remember popping in to a SFIII third strike tournament a year ago, and this one kid kept turtling (sitting in the corner, bunging out projectile attacks etc) and his opponent was easily twice his age. So it got to round 3 and the kid got pwned, as the older bloke used a little known exploit. The kid screamed shenannigans, after spending the whole 3 rounds using the cheapest "tactics" imaginable, and really got into the other guys face. He was told to shut up, the kid stood up and kept ranting, older bloke knocked him out in one blow to the skull, it was pretty cool to see the crowd cheering "Perfect!" then one joker shouted "Finish him!", old blokes reply "I already did, innit?".
