Just wanted to say - , if anybody has been offered John Donne, they should go and have a look with an open mind! I had a visit today and was very impressed! The head teacher and staff are inspiring! The classrooms are bright, full off colour, pictures, all kinds of visual aids! I was very impressed, - do go with an open mind, if you get chance to speak to the head teacher you will be impressed and inspired! They are totally committed to the school and children, I think they are doing a fantastic job.

Hi Magpiemonkey, Sorry for late reply and thanks for the insight into the school. I went and had a look at the school, it really is an outstanding school. It does have a challenging job, however, I was very impressed with the head teacher and other key staff members, the children are clearly very happy and have such a colourful environment to learn in. I would recommend anybody going to the school. Its just to far away for us. I can only sing it's praises, if it was near dulwich I'd been sending my child there with the utmost confidence. The head teacher really is inspiring !. Fingers crossed we do get something more local. M ;)

Hello all, We have been offered John Donne and we live in dulwich, we didn't get our first choice Dulwich Infants school. We don't live that far away from it (less than 800m) Is John Donne a good school?. Any advice knowledge would be grateful. Thanks M
