  1. Maxxi, that is my first step, I'm going to seal the vent temporarily and then replace it with one that has a shutter. Thank you very much for the advice.
  2. Thank you very much red devil. That's helpful.
  3. Bathroom has an extractor, but I am not sure is working properly. The smells are cooking smells :), but they are pretty strong. I guess the ventilation/plumbing system in the whole block of flats (council block) may be a problem. I'm just not sure where to start to fix it..
  4. Hi all I need some advice on how to stop odour from neighbouring flats coming into my flat. The smells seems to come mostly from the bathroom through the ventilation system (my bathroom doesn't have a window so I can't air it). Any thoughts? And would a builder be able to help? Thank you, Ann
  5. Hello Does anyone know if it's allowed to close balcony in a flat that is part of a council block of flats without planning permission if you are the leaseholder? Thanks.
  6. Canary Wharf shopping centre has got pretty much everything including a john lewis and a big Waitrose - the overground from Denmark Hill/Peckham Rye, then 1 stop on the Jubilee Line - there in 15-20mins.
