it will be as good as the tenant are - visit it at all time of the day and night try to see the comings and goings if there are a lot could also check the electrol roll to see how many are in the house hold. I lived in a flat once with 2 flat above one was a one bed but there were 6 Mormons in there - that was really horrible. The the flat at the top was fine for year change of tenant and a loud drunken couple who left tap on moved in again not fun. Check if the it is tenant or owners. Sorry to be the voice of glum but by the time you buy and over you will be staying a fair few year so it is worth check check checking. If its not right you will get the dream home eventually. All the best of luck take your time it is the most expensive purchase you will make and if its right it will look after you for years!

It seems that some people just love to waste you time! you post detail of items for sale, you get a message, you respond you give your address then they do not bother to respond, in the interim you get more messages but your not sure if the item is going to be collected....is this getting to be the norm? is this on the increase? is it possible to do anything about it? Or is there just a lot of more rude folk around - ie they could not be bother to say sorry change of mind

I was told by a very helpful person in Southwark that if a fox is in your garden you have to pay for disposal or if it happen to have enough life left in it and moves on to the public highway then it is for the council to remove. Needless to say the fox at in our back garden managed to get out on to the street......very helpful advice
