  1. Thank you for your posts. I heard there was a refugee camp in Kenya that the Kenyan authorities refused to open. It apparently has sanitation and water; and I thought that water was procured from wells.
  2. I feel quite distraught about what is happening in south east Africa, but cannot help but wondering if there was not water available right under their feet? I hope this question is not inflammatory
  3. And what about the plight of forced rhubarb do vegetarians feel bad about buying it ?
  4. English is also very popular because it is very at ease with assimilating new words. Also, the English language has the most extensive vocabulary. This means precise concepts can be expressed succinctly. All technical terms are already in English, which The Chinese, Indians, and Brazilians have learn already...I do wonder sometimes if all the Mandarin learning Dulwich kids are not wasting their time.
  5. Kobe beef is also kept drunk all day and get it's flavour from having quite a bit of fat due in part to alcohol cunsumption and not doing much. Geese or ducks bred for foie gras feel the discomfort an unhealthy chip eating slob would feel...Don't hear them complaining to much though. By the way hunger is also a discomfort, and a lot of people suffer from it. once they are satiated I shall start worrying about foie gras.
