Just wondering where the nearest tip is - assuming its over in Battersea, but is there a nearer one?

Extremely disappointed (not so say angry and outraged) by the police tonight. After 3 separate calls they told me they couldn't be bothered to call the owner of a car which is blocking my garage - despite my scooter being stripped for parts a couple of weeks ago, when left on the street. We're not talking about a driveway here - it's an illegally partied car on a public highway. Apparently it's not their problem. Neither is it the council's according to them. The Police were prepared to send two officers to my house when my scooter was vandalised - to advise me on crime prevention but now refuse to even call the owner of a car that prevents me from keeping it safe. It's obviously moronic. So - if you can't rely on the council. And the police refuse to help - what do you do when your driveway is blocked?

I went out to my scooter this morning, to find it had been stripped of a large number of parts. I'm pretty sure it was fine when I saw it on Sat and Sunday morning, so it was probably done in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon. I'm livid. It feels pretty invasive to have something so brazenly stolen from outside your house. Complete and utter disrespect for each other and our community. If anyone sees someone repairing a black vespa ET2, especially the coverings around the handlebars (which hold the headlight and instruments) please DM me, so I can arrange a visit from boys in blue.
