  1. Codfellas is my local and very good it is too, they just had a refurb and have a nice little seated area, perfect!
  2. Have you tried Celia Hammond yet, they're usually pretty good at picking up kitties like this...I would adopt but I have two of my own already and I don't think they'd be too impressed!
  3. So what did they think the original tweet would do, Mark? I am not 'stirring up disrespect', I am calling out a commercial organisation for a sh*tty, tasteless tweet about something which is a serious problem, which is exactly what this forum is for...idiot.
  4. Brought to my attention by SNARL, this was tweeted by the twitter account of the Perryvale bar in response to a tweet about the cat serial killer: 'it's just a cat...#pussybashing They taste great with a pinot grigio !!' I can't believe that a respectable company (which also runs the Crooked Well) would tweet something like this, it's in extremely poor taste and I for one will boycott both the Perryvale and the Crooked Well. (Title changed by Admin)
  5. also: Hi If you have access to a printer you could attach a paper collar, you write your mobile asking for the O to contact you to comfirm he/she is owned. [www.rspca.org.uk]
  6. Hi, Is he big? and confident? does he meow/talk alot? I lost my big black cat Cosmo, over a year ago, it could be him...he is chipped so should be identifiable...he may of course belong to someone in the area, it may be worth trying to take him to the vet to read his chip if he's got one... Cheers Bruce
  7. One good way is to get as many of your friends/colleagues/family to stop driving diesels, and maybe take up cycling or use less polluting forms of public transport...or even walk!
  8. they're harmless, and won't damage your property, just leave them be(e)...they're a good thing to have as it means you have a little biodiversity in your garden, so please don't kill them!
  9. no worries, thx McGee!
  10. Hi, I checked with the hospital in Putney but they didn't seem to have any record of this black cat, and said if he was chipped then they would read it and get in touch...
  11. the Colyton road end was where I used to hear them a few years ago...
  12. thanks, McGee...he is chipped so I guess the RSPCA will find it if it's him...
  13. Hi, I was just wondering how large this cat was, big or small? I lost my big black cat, Cosmo, over a year ago, and our garden backs onto Chadwick Rd...
  14. I saw this posted by SNARL, it looks very useful: http://www.animalslostandfoundinkent.co.uk/what-to-do-if-you-have-lost-your-cat/
  15. really sorry to hear that, but the good thing is he will probably bounce through the cat flap in a couple of days...he looks just like our fluffy guy Finn...you're not far away so I will keep my eyes peeled! Please also look at the link I am posting, it may help...
  16. water, light and warmth (ie not being too cold) are the keys, but don't overwater and feed the plants occasionally with some liquid fertiliser...they short turn out fine as long as they are not Ficus, which are a pain in the butt to look after!
  17. we still have very low pressure in Grove Park,is this still an ongoing problem??
  18. Many Thanks Phlox, will give it a go...
  19. Hi, our little cat Memo died in her sleep this morning, we're very sad but she was very old, poor little thing. I don't particularly want to bury her in the garden as we don't really have room and I have hurt my hand (knocked off my bike yesterday!)is there any way I can dispose of her body properly? We can't take her to the vet as it closes before we're back from work...any ideas gratefully received...
  20. Thanks, that's a shame, I still live in hope
  21. ps you could try and get his chip read at the vets or Celia Hammond...
  22. Hi, I lost my cat Cosmo at xmas, he's a big, noisy boy...hard to really tell from the pics, but does this cat fit that kind of description? It's a bit of a long shot, but I thought I would ask, we live in Grove Park, Camberwell so it's not too far
  23. I live in Grove park and cycle up and down Camberwell Grove every day, I will keep an eye out, luckily he is quite distinctive!
  24. Crossroads Cafe on Bellenden Road, very old-school but decent with it, great service, good food and always a smile and a kind word from lovely Fatma when she takes your order...you're welcome!
  25. I'm so sorry, he's a beautiful cat...I hope you find him soon, will keep my eyes peeled
