    Foxes

chances are high. I see them in all our neighbouring gardens all the time. they do not like the dogs going out to give them an argument though
  2. of course, when your party was in control the sun shone every day and peckham rye became the elysian fields. funny how your brilliance resulted in a swing to labour that bucked the national trend big time and swept you from and your tory mates from power..... and returned tessa and hattie with big majorities too.
  3. was walking the doggies in the park yesterday when a sainsbury's delivery van came trundling along the footpath. as the dogs were scampering back and forth, I stopped the van asked what he was doing. he said he was delivering to the cafe (0n the other side of the park) and was lost. I told him where the cafe was and he said (honest!): "i've done the delivery but I couldn't find a way back out." he then drove off along the narrow path beside the picnic area and managed to rip some branches off the trees. the last we saw of him was getting jammed in somewhere near the saxby gardens. what a pillock
  4. chris lynham was not part of edfest. he did occasional gigs upstairs in the tavern. one night in norwich he had to be taken to hospital when the firework exploded in situ as it were
  5. elfnsafety!! what would we do without the busybodies?
  6. what do you mean by "come out"?
  7. have you considered writing to woman's own or even jackie instead of tipping your misspelt agony onto this site? give us a break, luv!!!
  8. it ran for two years. they had a big top on goose green. withnail and I was screened in the first year and bill bailey did a riotous evening to close the second year. the following year the lib dems and tories took control of southwark and edfest was canned when they refused to continue supporting the event.
  9. gosh, that cllr barber is a jolly busy little boy. pedestrian crossings every few feet on the lane and now residents failing to keep their wilfully rule busting privets etc firmly in line. me barber is also a cycling devotee who does not like cars).... so watch out for perking permits everywhere (they keep on trying.) dunno if he's got anything to do with the peckham rye park picnis area being closed of of the elfn safety fears regarding the beautiful trees. give us a break jimmy baby... leave us alone for a while willya!
  10. is there an open air production at the peckham rye cafe this summer. the guy who played prospero last year spoke so softly he should have done it i n semaphor.
  11. why don't you tell us the name you have. someone may know him
  12. mugging in park in broad mid-morning daylight. people everywhere. guy knocked down, probably for his mobile. polie turned up and raced around to no avail.I fear the scum are getting bolder.
  13. that's no lady, that is my wife!!
  14. does anyone know if the council are going to replant the wild area sparrow project? if not,I think it would a nice idea if park users were encouraged to sow wild flower seeds . it would save the council money and be nice sociable activity.
  15. kamilla. what sort of dog? big small. we have two jacks and might find space for another if it isn't a biggie

    flypast

as the lancaster flew in low over the palace, the old repubkicanin me called out: "bombs away chaps, let's go home.
  17. police motorbikes stopped traffic at the library crossroad this morning. they held up lordship lane traffic in both directions as two outriders shephered a landrover to the junction where it whizzed right into barry road. I couldn't see who was in the car coz it had darkened windows
  18. is djkillaqueen real or, as I have long suspected, just an inflatable dogphobic t**t?
  19. it is not just on the roads. a young man on a motor bike was chugging through peckham rye park on sunday. I asked him to stop and his charming replay was "F off, you c!
  20. our accountant's office in NCR has had no phones all day. this has happened a few times in recent months. BT really are knobs!
  21. has anyone got a link to maggie brown's piece on the forum about this danish tv masterpiece?
  22. the picture of the thief was removed not because of anything on this forum (that would be ridiculous) but because we only keep such pictures on display for a limited length of time, after which their effectiveness diminishes. rest assured that when the next crook comes in, we shall display him in the window as well, in between goose-stepping up and down the shop.
  23. we have lived in scutari road for 8 years (moving from crystal palace road). we love the area. welcome to the neighbourhood
  24. 3 years for such a vile attack sounds ludicrously lenient and almost certainly part of the reason why young people have no fear of going out tooled up
  25. a 15-ye-old held over the stabbing and a THIRTTEEN yr old over the shooting! what total mess our society has become. and all this after a birthday party. the parents have many searching questions to answer.
