Using a mobile phone is hardly flashing. If your phone rings, you automatically are going to open bag/get it out of your pocket to see who it is? It may be important, or you may be waiting for a call...we can't just go around waiting till we are in a 'safe' area to answer our phones otherwise we may as well not have a mobile phone! Really annoys me that we have to stop doing something because a couple of scumbags are on the steal.

My neighbour got mugged yesterday, a SUNDAY afternoon outside Cabrini house around midday, I could not believe it. Luckily she is ok, it was a young black guy. This is obviously a hot spot for muggings of phones and it infuriates me that these two guys working in operation together think they can just grab phones off people and there's nothing you can do about it. They are working along the Forest Hill Road on the way to Honor Oak Park station, please be wary. They don't wait till dark, or collar people when no one is around, they are fearless and they obviously don't give a stuff.

This is the work of the extra terrestrial kind!

Mehh...maybe? But it shut them up and in my opinion they need doing so.

Just want to say well done to the jogger tho stood up to a gang of youths on Forest Hill Road on the evening of Saturday 16th. He was jogging past, minding his own business and a group of youths shouted at him/ challenging him. He could have 'jogged on' but no, he turned around and said, "what?". Of course the gang got all defensive and revealed a couple of bottles from there jackets...The jogger approached them and got right into there face and said, "Come on then?!" and the gang shut up and put their bottles away. Yes, I know people will say it was stupid that jogger even challenged this group of youths and it could have ended badly but it was nice to see a local resident not keeping his head down and letting some 15/16yr olds threaten him.

Unfortunately these types of dog are often used as 'protection' for individuals/gangs of people. They also give street cred. I quite often see these dogs with cuts/scars and have heard of people fighting these dogs against each other, beating them up to 'toughen' them and on command can be used as a weapon. I am not saying this is for every Staff type dog. I have been around lovely Staffs who are sweet natured but I feel sorry for the ones that end up in the wrong hands. I certainly feel the laws should be reassessed and a license brought in to own this type of breed.

Terrible news. This morning there has been police, ambulances and fire brigade up Honor Oak Rise/Forest Hill Road. I am unsure what has happened but it must have been serious. Hopefully no one was badly harmed.

Did anyone see the accident towards the top of Forest Hill Road yesterday morning, around 9.10am? A man was seen lying in the road surrounded by people assisting him.I just wondered whether he was ok?
