  1. hazelnunhead - please can you post directions re. turning off app buying? I thought I had done so, but just tested it out and apparently not... Thanks
  2. We're at Greendale Mother Goose. Takes me 10 mins walk to Denmark Hill/ED (I do have short legs though) or it's a few mins in the car. I get the 8.26 and am at my desk (near City Thameslink) for 9am (odd train delays permitting of course).
  3. Any recommendations for central, toddler friendly hotels in Rome appreciated...
  4. Just found out last week that I am expecting #2..still doesn't seem real! Due on 18th August (ish). Clofty: I had my first when I was 36. Don't worry, you definitely won't be in the minority!
  5. Just found a thread from a few months ago!
  6. We've got the same one as SebsC and I think it's one of the best things we have bought. Definitely helps when my son has a cough/cold.
  7. Hi - just wondering if anyone knows whether the Lascal Buggy Boards fit Baby Jogger City Mini prams before I go out and buy one...
  8. My son has a lovely key worker at nursery, plus a few other staff who he/we think are fab and I'd like to get them each a little something nice from him for Christmas, but without going over the top ... any ideas would be appreciated as all I can think of at the moment is a nice box of chocs each. Thanks!
  9. We used paspic (online, but quick service) for my son's Aus passport. They have all the guidelines and check the photo adheres to the rules before they send it.
  10. Thanks Knomester, and thanks for your kind offer - I'll let you know. I went through the same thing with my son (late diagnosis of TT which lead to not being able to breastfeed) so am really keen to get her some help. She has mentioned TT to her midwife and GP but neither have checked her new son and don't seem to be taking her seriously. I've told her to try and get hold of a lactation consultant but don't know how else to help her as she lives in Dublin.
  11. Hi - does anyone have the link to Knomester's thread about breastfeeding? My best friend is going through a really tough time of it at the moment and I'd like to send it to her. I've done a search but couldn't find anything.
  12. I has a lovely one at Therapy when I was about 7 months or so, they had the hole in the table set-up.
  13. Any ideas for healthy snacks for a 21 month old? He usually has fruit etc, but I don't think I can take that on a plane...
  14. We use Waitrose Bottom Butter for daily use, and metanium for nappy rash.
  15. Hi, many thanks for the responses. Am using baby bonjela and it seems to be clearing up slowly. He's eating well and happy in himself so am less worried than yesterday.
  16. My 20 month old has got a large, painful ulcer on his tongue which he keeps catching on his teeth. It's so upsetting to watch as he doesn't understand so keeps getting very teary. We've tried calpol gel and ibuprofen to try and take the edge off the pain for him, but any ideas on how to clear it up or make him feel a bit more comfy would be really appreciated. Thanks x
  17. We sometimes have this http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2549/20minute-rice-supper The BBC Good Food website has a lot of recipes using mackerel.
  18. I can make and receive calls - it's just the internet I can't get into.
  19. Still not working - anyone else still having problems?
  20. Thank you all for your suggestions - I'm so grateful!
  21. Wow! Thanks all for the suggestions - I will be heading down to Poundland a.s.a.p for little toys (and Sellotape)! Hadn't thought of the aqua draw sets, thanks Pickle!
  22. I am sure this topic has been done to death, but we are flying to Australia in 4 weeks and I am starting to panic about the flight. My son will be 21 months and I am looking for some good books, toys etc to take along to keep him amused (if that's possible!). Does anyone have any tips for making the journey a little easier? We are flying Singapore Airlines and having a short stopover on both the way over and back. Also, any tips on helping with his jetlag?
  23. I am so sorry for your sad loss, please accept the condolences of me and my family. You are in our thoughts.
