  3. Sports activity camp at south bank university - elephant and castle, fitforsport the castle centre (everyone active) also elephant and castle. Dog kennel hill AP usually have a scheme running too, my son attend last year and loved it and the staff.
  4. Flip - out (Wandsworth) / oxy-jump? I think the Croydon one is called, firm favourite. Trampolining for an hour, then party room & food!
  5. Also recommend Aveeno. It is still available on prescription, you will need to ask the GP specifically. If not, supermarkets/boots etc will sell it. Also get some rolled oats, stick in some tights and leave in the bath/under the tap, really helps to moisturise (i'm sure this is also used to sooth chickenpox itching) Also second hydro-cortisone, can buy over the counter its relatively cheap and fast working. Good luck!
  6. My son started at GG reception last September I panicked got him all of the standard P.E kit (plimsoles shorts tshirts a p.e bag etc)..They did p.e in t-shirts and trousers as the teacher explained a lot of children at reception age are not great at getting dressed/undressed! In his class they have holders with children sized thicker pencils etc provided, and my son had about 15 different charms attached to his zipper on his Spiderman bag! All the best. J

  8. The barbers next to E.D station.. next to the nail shop. can not remember what it is called! ask for Bobby. My son is mixed/ghanian. Bobby is lovely, allows him to touch the sheers/razor whatever you call them! Relates it to cars, bumble bees etc.. Manages to get my son to sit still for most of it and on his own in the bigboy chair. Good luck!
  9. The council usually deals with rat complaints for free...Give them a buzz! Also check the walls outside in the garden to make sure you have no entry holes etc. good luck
  10. Hi all, Myself and a friend have had an idea, and I thought I would post here for some feedback. What do the parents of ED think about children's bumbags/fannypacks? All personally designed with prints, buttons beads etc. As a parent in and around ED,do you see a need for your child to have a travel bag, to hold personal items I.e tissues, fruitshoots, a favourite toy or spending money? We are thinking of an age range from 2/3 upwards (being a parent of a two year old who loves to hold his own rucksack!) And last but not least, as a parent in ED, would anybody be interested in sporting there own personal carrier? For jogging, cycling schools runs etc! Thanks in advance for any feedback left! Jade.
  11. My lo is now just over 13 months old and his sleeping pattern is somewhat erratic, after a spurt of teething, a bug and ten teeth later sleeping is either very good or very bad! Just wondering what tips/ideas anyone has to get back into an everyday Normal sleep routine as I have tried it all! Baths, dinners, snacks, milk...playtime nap time and everything under the sun! When he is not at home, at Nannys for the night he sleeps almost perfectly.. When at home we have 4-430 am wake ups, hours of battling to get him to sleep in the cot..then on the odd night or so he will sleep until 8am!
  12. My LO is due to be one at the end of april, and i would like to throw a small party as a celebration ( both of his independence and me surviving a whole year!>:D< . I say small, however i would need a space that could accommodate my family, OH's family, friends and there little ones aswell, (ranging from 6months-5years) so i think on the higher end around 30 people. I have no idea where to start, however I know it will have to be close(ish) to ED/Bellenden,etc. Much appreciated!
  13. I also say aveeno! my partner suffers from eczema, and my skin is very sensitive. When LO was born he had very dry skin, and i was prescribed aveeno bath oil/wash stuff. Put a few drops in soak LO, a week later all was well! you can ge aveeno cream on prescription;just ask.
  14. 12 Bus has just been stopped from going any further that Camberwell because of the problems in Peckham.
