  4. Hi Alik212 Apologies for the confusion. The dates were listed in week order i.e.Camberwell on Monday, John Harvard on Tuesday etc. I hope that you were able to attend one of the events. 5. Veolia Southwark will be hosting free real nappy demonstrations at local library baby and toddler sessions (see listing below). The team will be on hand to answer questions about using real nappies and how to apply for the free trial pack (worth ?50). By using just one real nappy a day, in place of a disposable one, would prevent 730 nappies from being sent for energy recovery. Using cloth nappies instead of disposables not only helps to save the environment but helps to save families money too. Parents can save approximately ?500 per baby and if nappies are used for more than one child, the cost savings add up considerably. In the UK, 8 million disposable nappies are thrown away, every day. The plastic in disposable nappies can take up to 500 years to break down. Join other parents across Southwark and help to reduce the number of nappies that are thrown away by making the switch to reusable nappies. Real Nappy week 23-27 April Libraries: Camberwell at 10.30am John Harvard at 11.15am Dulwich at 10.30am Canada Water at 11.00am Peckham at 10.45am
