never been banned by anyone, let alone this one ? they are very reasonable on here and highly intelligent. I think Southeastcentral is a collective group. anyway your other avatar was "hystericaloldladyinbloomers"...pretty sure that was you. You aren't conscious, but you are slightly comical. Now move on and post something significant and interesting to the wider body politic. Now lets get this forum back on track huh, the people demand it. Listen you muppet watch yourself or you may go the same way as your other avatar eh ! As for 'so many local admins' what on earth you talking about, are you actually on this planet? or existing in some made up internet based society ....your bloody boring straf stop wasting your time, if you and your mates have got into the business of trying to close down opinion, get a life. If you don't like it don't read it, your coming across like some tiny adolescent neo fascist, who has had a strong lager top and its got you a bit wobbly. so repeating what i have posted (which seem's to have made you shoot your provebial load) People are starting to post here now and it has the potential to grow, there is quite a collective gathering around Telegraph hill, Brockley, New Cross and Nunhead so it may well take off. The Admin are independent and intelligent which makes a change from Klingnuts and his brainless and half baked NH for-rim drivel. [www.southeastcentral.co.uk blimey contentious huh straf

Don't worry Rebecca's next....and there is more to come.......one fantastic story that could implode right at the very top.......paint yourselves white to deflect the coming blast. -
Christ on a bike.....its just a new forum with a so far seemingly independent Admin, I post in new cross though? So what if these people want to post using a variety of avatars, good for them. Mockney you are coming across like a little school boy on a stool shouting ' listen to me , listen to me , im capatain i tell you, captain " with warm urine running down your leg and soaking into your long brown socks whilst everyone one around you throwns ink soaked toilet paper at your head. Rules on the internet...please ! As for this wally kleinhond , if someone does not serve him and by proxy this forum with some legal action i would be surprised. If you lot are going to share admin roles then for gods sake go and get some training. His comments in the pensions section could sink you.

Should ED make a stand and boycott News Corporations NOTW
georgegarrett replied to georgegarrett's topic in The Lounge
Maxxi - that GOTCHA post was, i hate to say it, inspired genuis....please someone mock that up and post it here. Anyway obvioulsy the declaration to boycott the NOTW was not really that at all, but an easy way to get some negative publicity out there about what Murdoch and his mates have been up to. On a serious note when i posted this as the story broke, the BBC, CNN Europe, Reuters and a few others were leading at the top of the hour with that story, the hacking of Milly Dowlers phone. However SKY news led with 'The missing soldier who had gone missing but had been found' (not known dead at the time), then they followed with some shots of Cameron in an army canteen giving a little speech, they then ran the story about a 'light aircraft crash in devon , 1 death,' then a' job figures piece' and then 4th in the queue was a '30sec piece about unproved alligations relating to 'more phone hacking'....... Now my problem with this was not, shock horror, that they buried the story, but that the government of the day has discussed the fact that if News Corp where to take control of BSKYB then it would be run independently mirroring the gloriius and much heralded model that is SKYNEWS !!!!!!...... That is the horror story in all this, if you ever needed a clear sign post of how un-independent SKY NEWS is? this was it. Now some people may say "yer we know"....so what? But it is a nightmare scenario. The BBC's internal journalists are finally showing their colors and are coming out fighting against this, the Indy , Gaurdian, Mirror and Telegraph are all piling in. Now apprarently the Cons are seeing the writing on the wall, Cameron may yet (amazingly) deliver the decisive blow. This Australian Silverback is about to be taken down by a pack of UK based hyienas, it may well be now or never , if the public get involved now and ramp it up even more, pressuring advertisers as is starting to happen, the joint Unions are also apparently starting to mobilise their grass roots, then someone may finally be able to put GOTCHA sticker right over his over sized opinion and gob. They were minded to wait and break it all up the moment he goes, but now they are starting to think about finishing now, the time of the archaic global media mogul may well be coming to an end. They only need a little push so every bit helps. -
It has long been established that Kleinhond is not the type of person that should be anywhere near a local blog like the Nunhead Forum, let along a keyboard. And yes its in bed with the EDF. So moving on, people are starting to post here now and it has the potential to grow, there is quite a collective gathering around Telegraph hill, Brockley, New Cross and Nunhead so it may well take off. Should ED make a stand and boycott News Corporations NOTW
georgegarrett posted a topic in The Lounge
It looks like the NOTW hacked into Milly Dowlers mobile phone, 10years ago while she was still presumed missing. They deleted messages, gave her parents and the police false hope. They thought it was her doing it and thought she was still alive. Ultimately they led the investigation astray. Levi bellfield then went on to kill 3 more young girls. This is truly an Evil and Despicable act by the NOTW in order to sell more news papers and give News Corporation ultimately more control and influence within UK politics. There should be piles of these things left in every news agent this Sunday. -
sorry we are not part of the EDF 1922 committee.....we don't get the joke..nor do the other few thou on this forum Do they both both play dress up , Is one a man and the other a bearded lady ? do they argue in the local pubs over warm beer and politics ? let it never be said 'a clique exists here' drunk with the power of keyboard kink. Dam I need a masturbating badger smiley !!! oh and a decent pension.

That you may UDT, but they are timing their attacks on Murdoch to perfection. Government sends out feelers about signing of on the news deal ' we are minded '.....then the Guardian smashes them between the eyes with the Milly Dowler story. They have sat on that and waited. News Corporation deleted messages on a dead girls phone, gave her parents false hope and hampered an ongoing investigation.....Murdoch press.

Mams man .... Instead of throwing old washed up qoutes around from the 70's from The Sun , try some progressive contemporary thinking, How about this.... we think the 3 per cent compound growth rate that constitutes the capitalist juggernaut, as capitalism functions and feeds on itself by constant growth (with three per cent the magical/necessary minimum for economic satisfaction), growth that, periodically (and, of course, over the long term), is impossible to sustain and leads to increasingly severe crises. " In midsummer of 2009, one third of the capital equipment in the United States stood idle, while some 17 per cent of the workforce were either unemployed, enforced part-timers or 'discouraged' workers. What could be more irrational than that. " David Harvey So this crises may not have been a case of a lack of liquidty but over-extended (and under-paid) workers were not spending enough to get the business cycle moving again; surplus capital is picky, too.

Listen socks only, your points are really just pants, stop ranting and start thinking here is something for you to read, obviously the illiterate Mary Bousted read it. oh my god your obssessing, if you carry on i may have to dress up for you as the terminator and PM you....are u flirting ? anyway some more playground trivia.... The leader of one of the teaching unions which went out on strike over planned changes to their pensions has challenged claims that public sector workers were being unfairly subsidised by those in private schemes. Mary Bousted, the general secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), pointed out that the taxpayer funded private sector pensions to the tune of ?37.6 billion in 2007/08, the most recent year for which figures are available, through subsidies and tax reliefs. This amounted to more than the total ?35 billion paid out to beneficiaries of private schemes that year, she said. And it compares with the ?27.1 billion estimated cost to the taxpayer of public sector pensions in 2011/12, according to figures from the Office for Budget Responsibility. Ms Bousted said that the Government had shifted its position in the row over public sector pensions and was no longer claiming they were ?unaffordable?, after it was revealed that they are set to decline from 1.9% of national income to 1.4% by 2060. Instead, ministers were now asserting that the public sector scheme was unfair on private sector workers whose taxes help fund it. But she told BBC Radio 4′s Today programme: ?I would like to take that head on. In 2007/08, the last year for which figures are available, the taxpayer subsidised private sector pensions to the tune of ?37.6 billion in subsidies and tax relief. ?When you consider the amount paid out that year in private sector pensions was ?35 billion, the total paid in private sector pensions was actually subsidised by the state. ?This idea that public sector pensions are paid for by the taxpayer and private sector pensions have to go it alone and pay for themselves isn?t true. ?Let?s stop this false pitting of private sector pensions and public sector pensions against each other. The state pays through its taxes for public sector pensions and it pays indirectly through tax relief to pension contributions for private sector pensions, which don?t perform very well.? Ms Bousted said that teachers had already accepted the need for additional contributions to their pensions in 2007, to cover the additional costs of people living longer. The real unfairness to private sector workers was that their pension schemes do not perform as well as those in the public sector, she said. .....another opinion then if you like.

Ok i see ....your nuts ! Everyone one here thinks so too ????

Is this part of the Nunhead regeneration plan. I notice that they are starting to fit all the new wooden shop fronts and the awnings are arriving soon. I think its great that they have finally secured the funding to re-vamp the whole of that high street, it will really give it that village feel. Are they moving on to ED next ? that would be good its a bit Ivor Heath at the moment, Iceland, Cars for sale on the pavements and a Gambling arcade. North cross road is nice though.

....poor maths ?!! (1) ......mmmm good call sherlock......that's come from the very people who have no doubt provided the government support in putting together the pensions arguments....you choose which way do you want it....either way you lose. (2) The Civil Service 'We aim to provide high-quality advice and support to the Government and help deliver world-class public services, while consistently applying our core values of honesty, objectivity, integrity and impartiality.' Sir Gus O'Donnell Head of the Home Civil Service ....they themselves call it myth busting (3) Motley Fool are you serious ? a website dedicated to investing , a global increase of 3% a year is headed only one place dearest.....to oblivion....and your checking that for your facts to decide if a teachers pension represents good value for money, hwo about the community value of educating generations of children from not only this country but others, what's the fool's opinion on that one? As for the one above that with your other 3 non thoughts ...its simple.....we are left with 2billion surplus just from the tax relief....so what happened to all the money that the private sector actually contributed ? Are they saying that encouraging business is worth a donation but educating our kids aint worth a subsidy ? oh yes of course that seems right to you, you love the motley fool and its wonderful information after all. Maybe if you spent less time with your misguided and daft sluething efforts you would contribute somewhat more substantially than a cloud.

here is some more fun in a bag of spin. 1. Most civil service pensions are around ?4,000 per annum. The average pension paid out last year was ?7,000. Where ...the coalitions own myth busting website !!!!!...check it out for even more interesting facts. 2. http://www.civilservice.gov.uk/about/facts/mythbusters/index.aspx#

"Private sector pensions cost the taxpayer too. Private sector pension schemes received ?37.6bn in tax reliefs in 2007/08 ? that same year they paid out pensions worth only ?35bn" Discuss the myriad of thoughts that you may have......

a point. If you work for a company for lets just say 10+ years and that company has always operated a enhanced redundancy benefit of a month uncapped, you stay with that company, give your loyalty to that company because despite your low wages the accrued benfits are good. Then out of knowhere the work force is 'outsourced' and you are taken over by some twice removed hedge fund investors. They then turn around a strip the 'enhanced' redundancy policy away leaving you with a basic staturatory of 5days per year capped at 12weeks, why because it was non contractual and they can. Fair....not to my way of thinking, you gave your time and loyalty to the old company, they used it to keep their staff loyal, it benefitted the company, saved them money, gave them a great workforce on which to build their product or service, it was a gentlemans agreement, it means something. Now someone completely unconnected strips away that agreement , takes the accured rights and turns it into profit for the hedge funds. They make 20+% of the workforce redundant to maximise the profit from the outsourced contract and save of redundancy as well. The company is now more profitable and can be sold on again, no doubt to the same faceless hedge fund. A carousel wheel, a con. It the same with teachers. They have stayed in that proffession, given time and energy on below average wages, in tough conditions and high stress. They contributed to their pensions always being told they were X. Then in come this coalition and go for these people in order to balance the books. All the while they continue to allow their 'friends' in big business to reap profit and reward. They used all our money to prop their banks up and save all their 100 riches mates most of of their 100's of billions of wealth but yet they come for those who are actually doing something to give back to society. And when these people protest they spin them into the dirt llike shit on their political shoes. Its wrong Danny Alexander and Michael Gove are political scum and thats it. -
