An abandoned Bugaboo Bee was sitting on the corner of Landcroft Road and Crystal Palace Road. Didn't look like someone was trying to give it away. More like it'd been nicked and left. Bottom of pram still had stuff in it. Anyway, it's now at East Dulwich police station - having managed to persuade very embarrassed looking passing copper to wheel it down the road. I'm sure he didn't have much else to do. He'd just been shopping in Sainsburys.

6:12 from East Dulwich to London Bridge. 6:42 from London Bridge to Gatwick, arrives 7:11. Or: 6:32 from East Dulwich to East Croydon. 7:03 from East Croydon to Gatwick, arrives 7:18. I really must get back to work...

I happened to catch the pretty badly made My Weapon is a Dog on BBC three the other day. About people who "deliberately train and abuse their animals to make them vicious attack dogs". Much of it was shot at the north end of Peckham Rye park. Nice. Dog (not Pit Bull)

And I was just about to say the ride to Richmond Park is lovely... Nice signposted cycle route through the parks and back roads of south London (TfL cycle map very useful the first time). You can take in Brockwell Park, Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common (currently a campsite for Wimbledon freaks), Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon Common before reaching Richmond Park. Bark.

I'd heard, on reasonably good authority, that mass football hooliganism largely died out in the late 80s because of the sudden fondness for consumption of ecstasy of a Saturday afternoon. Fans couldn't be buggered to batter seven bells out of each other. They'd rather hug. Not woof.

The best caff for a fry up - I reckon. Very friendly. But - do not go there if you are starving. Surprisingly, for a greasy spoon, they have warmly embraced the concept of 'slow food'. Can take an age for your food to turn up. But they will keep offering you free drinks, toast and the such as compensation. Fantastic place.
