  1. Has anyone received their super-secret email with details of where and when to go later ? It's almost like they are making it difficult in order to minimise attendance. Just have it in Clockhouse and bring a laptop you cowards 🙂 [EDIT] HA. It IS in the Clockhouse pub tonight 6-8pm. In my FACE, me.
  2. Lovely old green mega-walls still up this morning ! - that's 14 days of fenced off action for the best frisbee/evening sundown spot on the rye. The actual noise-attack wasn't such a pain this year and I live right next to it. Too many DJ/Sound producers though - not enough vibraphones. Question for the fest-positive people on this thread - Wordsworth, Cyclemonkey, Malumbu et all - Are you all totally cool with it being expanded to 6 days ( 26 days fenced off ) ?
  3. Final weekend to register your happiness with the council that they'll be boarding the best sitting spot on the Rye off for 25 days. email [email protected], quoting GALA consultation SWKEVE000569, to make your objections. 1 weekend Fiiiine. 2 Weekends, come on Gala you're having a larf.
  4. What's up with this two-weekend festival business ? Even Glastonbury and Reading don't get to churn up *their* fields for two weekends. Some big brass ones on the organisers by wanting to expand after last years post-festival clean-up failures. Am not against that one weekend - go nuts. But come on Southwark council - if you want the money that much, at least move it to the common where the circus and funfairs go. Shorter walk from the train station too ;) Suggest y'all go mail the events team to give them your 10 cents. [email protected] with the subject title ‘GALA consultation’ by the closing date.
  5. Did anyone ever claim this ? Those are quite nice bikes ! I'd buy it off you if no one does as my bike has had it's front wheel taco-ed by a 4x4 the other day.
  6. Thanks for all the feedback, he is making friends so hopefully there will be more of them travelling together soon, we are only in week 2! Thanks again!
  7. Hi, Our son is loving his new school but the journey is a bit tricky. He has been going from a stop near ED station and there is another boy at our bus stop but we would ideally like him to be travelling in a bit of a pack as the school is fairly far away. Are there any bus stops along lordship lane with a lot of ED Charter kids? Are any groups meeting at a particular time? Or are there any other local kids in the same position? Advice appreciated!
