Happened the same day as Lockerbie, so didn't make the headlines obviously.
  2. Bedingfield should lay off the burgers. He's a big lad already.
  3. I believe thar he's a known love-rat. Well done to nutty. Former league leader Mixulee has gone very quiet though...
  4. I would argue that it is in fact a fantastic time to open. There are hundreds of Foxtons "0% commission" boards lining the streets providing them with a huge amount of advertising and making themselves look very generous at the same time. The fact that none of these properties seem to be shifting within the 12 week "0%" period means that they're not exactly losing out on any commission either.
  5. Duran Duran at the London Arena c.1988 (Free tickets)
  6. Fugazi: In on the Kill Taker http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41H3V8YNHCL._AA240_.jpg First CD I purchased where it actually seemed like they'd bothered to make an effort with the inner sleeve instead of just shrinking down an LP cover.

  8. What's the colour of his hair got to do with anything?
  9. ...unless your little swimmers have been affected by excessive alcohol consumption that is ;-)
  10. The inside sleeve of Happy Mondays "Bummed" scared my teenage mind back in the day. I wouldn't dare post an image.
  11. We live near the butcher's/ new gym so it's a similar problem with parking etc. However the benefit of a great butcher on my doorstep far outweigh the negatives of my street being a car park on a saturday. By the way, is this a Zenorian? http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39995000/jpg/_39995169_sontaran_bbc_story203.jpg
  12. Baby Birdseye has been there since she was 10 months old (she's now 3) and loves it. We are very happy with it - the staff are great and really care about the children. They keep them busy all day with activities and although it's a play based nursery, they do try to encourage a bit of learning - colours, shapes, numbers, letters etc - along the way. Highly recommended and from what I've heard, you are lucky to be offered a place!
  13. So that's a thumbs up then?

  15. The Robert Plant & Alison Krauss album has been getting rave reviews. Anyone heard it or dared to get a copy?
  16. I've only been to Inside 72 the once, a few months ago. My ears are still ringing.
  17. I think Jojo is a red herring. They're opening in a month and there's no way no. 6 will be refitted in that time. Surely they're moving to 26, which is next door to White Stuff?
  18. I don't like sushi.
  19. I think it's going to be 26 Lordship Lane not 6. There is no activity going on in number 6. 26 is next to White Stuff.
  20. I liked him in Team America.
  21. *Bob" I bet your keyboard stinks.
  22. My wife phoned me this morning to inform me that our 3 year old had uttered her first swear word: "oh sh*t".
  23. Curb your Enthusiasm has some fantastic uses of the c word. Best one when Cheryl's aunt died and Larry was put in charge of putting a notice in the newspaper. Needless to say they mis-spelt "Beloved Aunt".
