Just spoken to Thames water man, leak fixed! Work is gas btw.
-
There is a leak on CPPR and another one on LL that may be related. However I'm talking about a 10 ft geyser that was washing my car from the other side of the road! Work started a couple of days ago, when they coated my car with mud.
-
Workman went through the pipe just round the corner from Crystal Palace Road junction, was gushing out when I went past at 6.45. Car getting a free wash.

As a workman has just gone through a waterpipe on Goodrich Rd there's An Ford there now ;-)

Jeremy, have you ever been nearly run down by a demented taxi driver on normal segregated roads?! The visually impaired angle needs a bit of thought.

Do you think that will be the case or will it make it worse for everyone, no matter what their usage (or need) of transport is?

Blinkeyblonck, I??ve recently moved from Nottingham and the city centre has a farmer??s market every month and a German Christmas market each year. The most popular stalls (and by popular I mean all day queues) are the pancake/waffle, German Sausage and Ostrich burger (and assorted ostrich meat). If you did the latter I??d keep you in business single handedly! Chorizo and sherry would do mind you ??

Interesting, been looking for cinemas in south London and there aren?t many! Think I?ll head Greenwich way, there's a multiplex jobby and also the Picture House. Sadly I think ?10 is the norm these days. If you are into gym/sport can I recommend Dulwich college. Restricted to outside school hours during term time but that brings the price down considerably and its got great facilities including a running track. There's also a bootcamp there on Saturday morning which I can heartily recommend. If you are into health and fitness. As I'm that end of ED, the Park, village, college, Art gallery etc is where I spend a lot of my time and all worth checking out. -
parent and child spaces in sainsbury's car park

Don?t know if this has been mentioned (you leave this thread alone for half an hour and another 3 pages have been added, it?s difficult to keep up) but Oragnix is organic baby food. So surely it?s right that the display is put on the parent and child spaces, no? (runs for cover...) -
Did it make into print or just the website? Very funny either way :D I think, due to the amount of "truth" (or perceived truth), in the posts they are more sacastic than ironic.

Look forward to that. I have a friend with a love of discarded furniture, from an artistic view point so there will be rich pickings! I've already snapped a few around ED, and have passed on Frienlocal's pic (hope you don't mind - I've not claimed the credit!) Will also make sure, if this goes ahead, that I'm not moving house on that day.... -

Hi buntysammy. I moved here a few months ago so probably not the best person to answer but I am interested in the answers! having said that I would agree with AlexC - my plan is to eat and drink in every restaurant and bar so I can make my own mind up, I expect to be bankrupt by Christmas :-) So far it does seem like a fab place to live, enjoy! -

Frankito Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Freddy, this friend of yours who was round > yesterday, sounds like you two were having a bit > of a mad one with your clipboards, infra-red > measuring devices and stop watches.. Jealous...! Nevermind the noise from planes, I've recently moved to the area and the thought that the most interesting thing to do for 2 hours is time the buggers is seriously troubling. -

With all respect Mr Fox that's poppycock. Yes fat is important for taste but that doesn't mean that cheap burgers are the tastiest. On the subject of good local burgers, went to the Victoria in Peckham Rye in the week and it was a beaut (chorizo scotch egg starter wasn't half bad either!)
