To follow on from Black cabs, I booked a corporate taxi rather than wedding. Much cheaper only thing different is no ribbon. For the night before and getting ready I booked an apartment for 4. Again cheaper than a hotel room and lovely to get ready in. Then we paid a taxi to take our bags to the hotel for wedding night.

And second the recommendation for the Lakeland heated airer. I just laid them on flat and they dried super quick. -

Love our cloth. Much easier than I expected. I have microfibres bambinex I could sell you pretty cheap. We have 1 Charlie banana and really like it. With regard to re-selling. The good makes really hold their value. There are a few preloved cloth nappy selling pages. I sold on some of our newborn stash for not much less than I paid. If you're interested in the microfibres PM me. I'm away this w/e but can then look into what I have. -
We love Brockley/Crofton Park. Ladywell is also developing nicely. Edit - sorry hadn't seen 2nd page!

3rd Sling Library. We've just got a Manduca.Love it. There is a stage around 2-3 months were baby might be 2 big for the newborn insert but a little small for without, this stage doesn't last long though. The Boba 3G is also worth looking at.

Thanks Greeners! I wil keep checking for NCT updates too. So bum at the front is optimum. I've been trying not to slouch and using ball and all fours. Depressing that I might have another 3 weeks of this but it's worth it if baby moves. I don't want a back to back labour. Have you been on the spinning babies website? Lots of helpful info and positions. Blue - thanks for the link. Going to go eat some more dates........ I like dates too. Hope this baby isn't so stubborn for you. Are you hoping for a vbac? My friend had a horrible first birth and then perfect labours for number 2 and 3.

Sonners Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Can someone explain the engagement thing to me - > my midwife told me that I was 2/5th engaged last > week (at 34 weeks!) - does that mean I have 3/5th > to go, or does it mean I have 2/5ths to go? If she said 2/5th engaged then it means 3/5ths to go. Sometimes they talk about palpable rather than engaged. If they say 2/5th palpable then you are 3/5ths engaged with 2/5ths to go!!! Does that make sense. It can be very confusing. Unfortunately I don't think how engaged you are has a correlation with when baby will arrive. Most 1st time babies engage early but are late. 2nd time babies often don't engage until the last week or even when labour starts but are more likely to be on time.

That's interesting to know. I'm still expecting (39+1). Have a moby to start off with, will head to the sling library to try others before I buy. I love how soft the Boba is and that is has foot stirrup things. -
Hey Greeners. No I didn't, unfortunately can't make it tonight. Can you keep me posted on any others that happen please. THe babies position sounds good. I thought we wanted bum to the side? I've been meaning to swim too but couldn't face it when it was really cold. Maybe I'll go tomorrow, if I can still get into my swimming costume?! Fingers crossed for some christmas babies. X

Things can happen quickly but most first babies are late, but not all. I've been getting BH since 20weeks but they haven't got any different yet. Midwife tomorrow, I'm hoping the baby is no longer back to back. I wouldn't mind Jan 1st but Jan 2nd -5th are quite depressing days. I'd hate to have a birthday on these day's. Best get bouncing whilst eating pineapple!

The Boba 3G is meant to be very good. -
Charlotte - hope you had a good b'day. If you join the fb group can you let me know if it posts it on the news feed. If it doesn't and doesn't go on my timeline I can join. Sorry if it seems I'm being strange. It should have been my sil's due date tomorrow. They've been trying for years and had a MC at 12 weeks. Very difficult situation. I've avoided all pregnancy stuff so far. Last early morning rush hour commute!

Thanks Tess. Is the FB group a private group? Not announced on FB so don't want it to be shown I've joined on my news feed? Edit - as opposed to just a closed group? Fb groups confuse me. Some everyone can see you've joined but can't see posts, others they can't see you've joined. I'm making no sense sorry! Pinkglitter - I finish this week. Feels too early now, feel like I could have done another week. What's your EDD? Have you checked out the spinning babies website? Tess - I can't really complain, I've had a very easy pregnancy. I just need to stop slumping and crossing my legs.
