  1. No replies at all....Which I thought strange.
  2. Out for a run in the early hours and spotted the scooter on Goose Green. Someone had left it carefully by the railings, but I thought it might be best to put it somewhere less conspicuous. Let me know if it's yours. Best wishes, Liz

  4. I'm trying to figure out the best route to the Mall to cheer on my husband as he finishes / meet him once finished with the all important protein shake! I will have a buggy and three small kids with me. I am thinking bus to E&C and the Bakerloo to Charring Cross. Open to any other routes or suggestions. Thanks for help!
  5. We use MyHermes (but they only deliver to UK and Northern Ireland). Their drop off system is really handy as you can drop off parcels at any time at the Londis on Lordship Lane. Prices are much more competitive than Royal Mail. Have used for both personal and commercial parcels. Liz
  6. Hi, we have used the Maxi Cosi Axiss. The seat swivels 90 degrees to face the door to allow for easy access when strappjng your child in. Then simply swivel the seat into the frobt facing position. It doesn't fit into all cars, but the maxi cosi website has a guide stating which cars it will for into to. http://maxicosi.carseatfitting.com/axiss/ot-en/ We have found it brilliant and use them for our 3 year old and 2 year old. Liz
  7. Don't cancel your date with your friend - you deserve it! (was going to write more but have baby at boob so one-handed typing is giving cramp!!) Just remember we are all doing our best for our kids. :)
  8. Apart from 'a light rain shower' the forecast looks good. Hopefully we'll be able to make it.
  9. We got the letter a couple of months ago, informing everyone in my house about the vaccination. When I went to make appointments I was told that both my son and I were 'eligible' ...due to me being pregnant and my son being 2. The absolute waste of letter and stamp for my 16 month old did irk somewhat! So I went ahead and made back to back appointments for both of us. I 'arrived' us both at the reception desk and waited. They were running late and we were eventually called. However, the nurse looked bemused at my son being in attendance as they didn't have the nasal vaccine in stock. I was not impressed, to say the least, and the nurse called in the lovely Julia Gale to explain the situation. She told me that clearly there had been a mistake and that the flu vaccinations for 2-3 yr olds were not scheduled to begin until the end of November and that another letter would be sent out. As of yet, we haven't received a letter but that is no great surprise!
  10. Thank you for all the advice. Have booked a taster session with Ruggerbeez so hopefully all will go well. He seems very excited at the prospect of playing Rugby! What sort of gear/kit should he wear? And are trainers ok at this stage? Thanks again. Liz
  11. Thanks Pebbles, Have looked at so many but we were non the wiser as they all look the same after a while (glossy websites full of smiling children!) I'll have a look at Ruggerbeez. Liz
  12. Hi, Looking for some advice / recommendations for Rugby Classes for my little boy. He is 2 and a half, really active and full of beans (like all 2 yr olds!) So we thought he'd enjoy rugby. Having done a quick search online and there are so many options, so would love any recommendations that people may have. Thanks in advance for any help / advice. Liz
