Reported this to the police last night and gave them a description of the guy etc. I would encourage others to do so as well if they havent done already, so we atleaest have some chance of catching this bloke.

oh, forgot to say, he was the upstairs flat window cleaner (who also paid him) and he never turned up for them either

this guy got me on Friday. Strangely after his 'guys' didnt turn up at 1pm as he said, he called me @ 5pm and said they'd be there the next day, which of course they weren't. This guy said he was the upstairs flat window cleaner as well, so I fell hook line and sinker. Anyone reported this guy to the ugly building on Lordship Lane (Police station)??? Guy was again very personable, chatty and helpful. Called himself Tony and 'Starlight Cleaners'. Very Very annoyed and still getting ear ache about it from the Mrs

My house backs on to Alleyns school field and over the last couple of weeks they have dug up pretty much all of there playing field with some quite heavy machinery. As far as I am aware this is without warning as I have just moved into the house and no building work on the field was indicated by my surveys. Does anyone know what's going on????

Dear All Im very disappointed in some comments on here about people coming to the area and ruining ED, because new shops open to cater for the demand. That's the free market at the end of the day and only serves to help the area! I for one welcome them and I hope that Petals does well. Melbourne Grove doesn't have masses of shops, but maybe if its given a chance it will set a precedent and bring the other shops to life. And Primark clothes are cheap because they are imported and massed produced. If u want something different from the norm u pay and no one should have the right to look down on the people that can and want to pay....and nor should they feel alienated by them.

Hi. Im new to the area and I am looking to start playing roller hockey locally, as I have been out of the sport for some years now. I know its a bit random for some, but does anyone know of any teams/clubs?? djw
