Anyone tried a Brazilian Blowdry?

If you are thinking about getting a brazilian blowdry for the festive season, get booking now. Carly has already got 8 booked in for the first week in December (including me! yay!). It's ?80 with a free cut. You will need to buy aftercare shampoo and conditioner, she can get this for you if you mention when booking or you can order online from Amazon. Carly will come to your house, days, evenings or weekends, 07903 241 170 Forgot to add: She also does cuts, colours, highlights etc also does kid's hair! -

Is showing at the Imax Waterloo on Dec the 9th at 12 noon. At 10 am they have a christmas bauble workshop and competition for kids. Sorry not ED related but thought it might be fun. We are taking some of our niece's and nephews out for a Christmas day out.

Carly is now offering the Brazilian blowdry for ?80 with a free cut included. -
thanks for all the tips! Going to start putting some bits together.

Tent in the garden sounds like fun! Better check with the venue though. What does the bug viewing involve? Not sure the venue will take too kindly if it involves any digging? On a seperate note, 5 is old enough to be seated at the kids table, am I right in thinking so?

I have no children. Lots of boisterous nieces and nephews. We have access to a garden so maybe some garden games?

45 minutes? God help me!

Having finally booked our wedding venue, we have appox 12 children ranging in age from 5-13 attending our wedding and reception. Most between 5 and 8. I want to make them indvidual party bags instead of traditional favours and also want to make an activity box to keep them amused that won't be too messy. Any one got any idea's/experience of what the content should be? thanks x

Just a follow-up. My hair still looks fab two months on and my hairdresser Carly is now doing the Brazilian blow-drys at a special price of ?80! You only need to have it every 3-4 months, so it's a great investment if you have to spend hours styling your frizzy hair. Carly also does cuts and colours and also cuts children's hair, she has a toddler herself so is great with kids. Can't recommend her enough- she's mobile and can do all sorts of different times. Her number is 07903 241 170!!! Also, as a side-line, she also does ironing, will pick-up and drop off and very reasonable.

Bouncy, I pm'd you last night :)

The brazilian blowdry is the best thing I've ever done! Can wash my hair & it dries perfectly. No need for straightening irons/serums/mousse etc. used to take me two hours to dry and straighten my hair, now it takes 5 mins! will be booking another appointment in 3 months time to have it done again! Carly did mine, she will come to yours to do it and her number is 07903 241 170 ETA: she also does cutting and colouring.

I have a vague recollection of a certain headteacher telling me I was lucky to have such an interesting name and wasn't it nice that the other children noticed, it's only a children'd television show, after all! They might not do it in class, but there's still the playground to contend with. Just putting my opinion in as someone with a similar name! She might get picked on and get called Dora the Explorer. When I was a kid, I was called Wizadora (popular kid's show when I was young) on what felt like, an hourly basis! It wasn't fun. Could get shortened to Izzy which is sweet. kam1 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > anyone like Isadora? How did your partner get on in the end, Saffron? -
I like Roman, Miles, Sebastien, Dylan and Dominic! A friend of mine has recently names her boy 'Logan'.

To be fair my real (loathed) name is Theodora and I'm one of 4 Theodora's in my family so family events can be quite annoying. My name is Thea. I'm forever having to say the following: 'No, not TheO...TheA' 'no, it's not spelt Fia, Phia, Fea' 'THEA not Chea and definitely not Leah' I personally like Sophie, Scarlett, Charlotte, Emma and Annabelle. What I wouldn't give for a normal name!!

that is really lovely, what a thoughtful, special lady! I could get started now on something like that! womanofdulwich Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > my best presents at this age were the lady next > door who did not have children made me a special > box decorated with my name on it and full of > straw/ cotton wool with lots of little things in- > well Sindy clothes and bubble bath anyway! maybe a > ladybird book.
