I believe it was Neil, thanks everyone!

I've moved recently but was renting a flat where the owner had a long (1 meter) landscape print on canvas of the city from One Tree Hill. I never did find out where they purchased it and I would love one; my estate agent said it was a well known artist in the area. Any idea on where I might find one or who may have created it? I unfortunately, failed to take a picture of it.

Kids activity and adult yoga on a Saturday morning

I believe there are many different classes on when JAGS has indoor football for kids on Saturdays. My partner would take my daughter to class and I would go to pilates. -
Moving abroad - where would you go?
JBoylen replied to KattyKit's topic in The Family Room Discussion
We are moving back home to Boston, MA and I would have to agree that the holiday allowances are not as generous. However, many companies have a great work/life balance and working from home is much more acceptable. I am from Boston so I am partial to it with the ocean, city, woods and mountains all within an hour or so from any location. However, I would also move to the West Coast if given the choice. My good friend moved just north of SF 6 years ago and simply loves it, the weather, the people, the work, everything. Good luck, and if you ever consider Boston, let me know! -

Not a doctor recommendation but I know that Avon makes a product that works. It might be the Banishing Cream or Correct and Peel. I have not used it in years but when I did, it worked for me. Good luck. I have one that has been around for years, it's become my lucky nub at this point so it's likely to stick around until it dies out and falls off after granting too many wishes. -
Does anywhere in ED stock Holle infant formula 1?
JBoylen replied to sequinstars's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I was never able to find it in a shop around here. However the two places I would try (as it has been over a year since I bought it) would be SMBS foods and Health Matters, both on LL. Good luck! -

Great! I am not free this Friday but I am most others and will be there next week. I am always available on Wed and Thursdays as well.. My course load is a lot and I get awfully distracted with cleaning and whatnot, I def. need motivation to get the work done. -

I am not "working" but I am going to Harvard Extension School (online0, my daughter goes to nursery on Fridays and that is what I can get some work done. The class is extremely time consuming and I know it is not "work" but I would also enjoy some company. I know it is a bit out of the realm but let me know if I may come along. If not and you want to keep it to just working from home individuals, I understand. -
Oh, ok. Thank you so much, I thought it might be a "bigger deal" in that her nursery is insisting she goes to it. I thought it might be a larger affair and I was just being well, lazy and putting it off. Thank you!

My daughter is due for a 2 year evaluation. What should I expect? I called my GP and I was told to just go to the baby wellness clinic and I thought it was quite an informal and speedy way to evaluate her. Is this standard or am I missing something?

I have been following this because my 2 year old is the same way lately though we have not had any big changes in our house. I put it down to a growth spurt and testing limits. ?? It was a good month before she started settling down easier - last two nights at least. Sometimes she needs a firm explanation as to what is happening even if we keep the same routine and remind her what is coming next. We say nicely and quietly and firmly that it's sleepy time, close your eyes and go to sleep. Somehow, for now, that is working. Good luck, it is far from easy knowing your night will end up in a battle. Sometimes when I take a deep breathe and try to visualise and think about how it will all go nice and smoothly, and actually take on that thinking fully, it seems to translate to her.

Does anyone have a CARES safety harness that I can borrow for the month of August? We are going to the states for the month and the price tag seems high for the one flight. We can talk about payment of any (most) sorts if you do have one I can borrow. Thanks

Running is a good hobby. What about more volunteering, or joining a running club? Blogging about your experiences? Writing a novel? I need s running partner is you happen to run. I have Thursdays and Fridays free, if you want to get some Moms/Dads together for museums or lunch or something I am sure there are quite a few of us around. I know I's be interested. If you are not looking for company then maybe learn and instrument, martial art, a new language? Local classes of Bishopsgate my liverpool Street?

My two year old is going through the EXACT same thing as yours bobby's bear. It's great to hear the reassurance from other and to know we are not the only one in this phase right now.

I just came back from my sisters wedding and have been to so many others. My sister gave a very useless but nice gift to all and I honestly don't even know where mine is at the moment, how awful! I agree with Serena in that it should be something actually useful for the guests. Trinkets and whatnot with your names and dates are nice (for you) but for me I always found the jams, candles, CDs, chocolate, jars of cookie dough mix, etc were actually put to use. Those uses become memories and reminded me of the wedding at the same time. As for ideas, I have none, just that input. ;) Congrats!
