New Shops in East Dulwich and Nearby - 2025 Edition
SarahG replied to Joe's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
JoJo is turning into, a…. Charity shop! I asked in there this morning. -
I'm pretty sure it's illegal for an au pair to have sole charge for under 2 year old children. Either way, they certainly won't have experience. You need a live in nanny instead perhaps?

Birthday cake for 50 yr old wanted
SarahG replied to Minitoots's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thanks for the recommendation Viki! I'm glad the cake went down well :-) -
Hi, I'm a nanny for a little girl who's just turned 3 and is about to start Herne Hill school nursery on Thursdays. I thought it'd be nice for her to have a little buddy before she starts if possible and wondered if anyone would like to meet up before then or in general! (I'm also available for babysitting if interested!) Sarah

Mark Warner and/or alternatives

I've worked a number of seasons for Neilson in Dabab, Porto Heli, Lemnos and Vassiliki. I've worked as kids club staff, windsurf instructer and freelance photographer! Feel free to ask any questions you may have! -
Have you tried a Facebook search?

Do not lift. It's gets the child into a habit of weeing whilst half asleep, which then makes it more difficult for them to get out of that habit. Children will only be dry at night once a specific hormone has been released. Don't put pressure on, just keep pull ups as part of nighttime and once they've been consistantly dry for a few weeks then consider changing to a waterproof sheet. Just do not lift your child.

Oh poor you! Don't try and do anything yourself, it can often make it worse. Contact these guys- http://www.bed-bugs.co.uk/ my parents used them (in cambridge!) and they were brilliant. They are a total menace and you need to get professional help ASAP. Wash sheets and clothes etc at 60 degrees to kill them for a start- anything cooler and they can survive. My parents had them come out and get rid of the bugs, they also had some stuff frozen in battersea and haven't had a problem since. Just PLEASE don't try and do it yourself with sprays etc. they can often spread the problem and encourage the bugs to hide. They can survive 18months with no food so encouraging then to hide is the worst thing you want to do! Good luck!

Just stick a pool woggle under the sheet, job done! -
My sister offers it as part of her business, it's called a 'hypno-band'. It's not what people think as in tricking your mind into thinking you've had the operation but it gives you the tools to realise that you don't have to over eat and gives you back a sense on control. Over eating, like other things such as OCD, drinking too much and many more symptoms stem from a person feeling powerless and often has fluctuating levels or chronic low levels of self esteem. Hypno band helps you tackle all of these areas for a permanent solution. You can call Claire on 07855220338 to find out more, or google 'Claire Gaskell hypnotherapy'.

What is wrong with people?! Someone is asking for help and that's what I was trying to do! Therapy does help, that's the point of it! I've got no idea why you wouldn't think that would be appropriate! It's not about 'peddling wares' it's about trying to actively offer help and solutions. It's great that people can offer sympathy but sometimes that's just not enough. Sorry for the hijack OP, I didn't mean it to become an ongoing discussion.
