  1. Thank you very much for the replies
  2. We are planning a trip to Disneyland Paris at the end of June for 3 nights; The prices seem to vary a lot on whether you go on a package or book hotel, tickets, and Disneyland park tickets independently. Does anyone have some advice on hotels? where to eat? will it be possible to book somewhere close to the parks but with more options for food? or even an apart hotel with options to cook basic meals? I have heard that the food in Disneyland is very expensive. We would like to book somewhere close but with more options to eat? Also, do you have to buy tickets for the park for the adults even if they are not going on the rides? Any advice on going to Disneyland Paris will be appreciate. We are two adults and 3 children.
  3. Hi, Does anyone know if the Judith Kerr is opening another year 3 in 2014; I went to the open day and think the school has a potential to be very good once they have sorted out the premises (playground, canteen, etc); the teachers and head teacher seem very good. They said they were considering opening another year 3 in 2014. Have heard good opinions from people with children there
  4. Agree with Canela, travelling is very difficult with two and expensive; we did a lot of travelling when we had just one but have slow down since we have two which is not easy as we are both from overseas away from Europe
  5. Greaet! Thank you
  6. Enjoy him! the second one will come when is the right time; I wouldn't be able to manage a toddler and a baby and I am glad the second one took one year trying to come and they are 3 years and 7 months apart; now that the second one is 3 years old, it is a bit easier and they are best friends and entertain each other and they also have time apart from each other which is good. Life is really busy with two or more.
  7. Hi, what's the best way to go to the science museum by public transport on a way day with a pushchair from East Dulwich? Thank you
  8. What are the tips just for boys? I imagine they will work with girls as well
  9. We are thinking on going out on new years eve for a nice meal with the children to wait for the new year; are there any good places to go with the children on that day?
  10. http://mommyofftherecord.blogspot.co.uk/2008/11/does-your-child-hold-hisher-poop.html Here is an interesting article. Good Luck! my little one, nearly 3 started holding up the poop as well and getting a bit constipated; I am planning a trip to the Dr tomorrow to get some movicol before it gets worse.
  11. I buy them in next and the shop in Dulwich Village and my daughter have not had any problem with them
  12. I think she is dropping off her nap for good but still can't manage to get enough sleep at night maybe due to having a nap in the nursery but not at home; it will be better if she doesn't nap at all but sleep the 12 hours at night but it really goes with every child and you have to go with the flow. My oldest one drop her nap at 2.5 years old; at the beginning it was stressfull but I decided not to go against the current, she started sleeping 12 hours at night. The youngest one is 34 monthsold and still likes his nap most of the time which means he does not go to be until 10:00pm most of the time. Try to put her to sleep with you and give her a bottle, relax but if she can't go to sleep there is nothing you can do about it or put her every day at nursery so you can get to rest before the second baby arrives. She probably feels you stress about it too an the problem is they pick up on everything which is not easy. Good Luck; it may be better after she turns 3
  13. http://www.osteopathylondon.co.uk/ I think John is really good
  14. Every child and every family is different; give them awhile but follow your instincts; if you think the nursery is not right then it may not be right for your child. My little one went to a nursery everybody recommended and I gave them a go for 6 months; my child became really aggressive and stressed; the majority of the staff were careless and lazy and let the children cry and would not give them a cuddle or reassurance. I took him out and he changed back to the normal happy child he used to be before that nursery. Other children in the same nursery seem happy. A nursery that is right for one child/family may not be for another one.
  15. I really don't understand the point of differing the start date until January when the rest of the children have already settled in and made friends; this seem more disruptive to me than starting in September. Normally most reception classes give lots of freedom to the children and have a slow introduction to school
  16. Hope your little one is feeling better. I will definitely go to A&E if she is not improving just to make sure the mocus is not getting into her lungs.
  17. Has anybody got the telephone number of this nursery? Thank you
  18. Does anyone know which was the catchment area for the Hamlet Junior School this year? Thank you
  19. How much is it and where is it exactly?
  20. We are planning to go to Ibiza for a few days in September; we would like somewhere relaxing, near a nice beach and with good views/landscape. We are not into partying/clubbing. Can anyone recommend a nice village?
  21. That is very helpful! Thank you Hollie
