I found it hard with the first one,but always thought that I didn't want an only child. I got two now who are 3.5 years apart and it is a busier life, but happier too despite the hard work. The first 2 or 3 years are the hardest, but I do not regret it one second. My friend waited a long time and regreted because by the time she wanted a second one she could not get pregnant. I definitely do not want a third one, I want time for me and my partner, have nice holidays,. I think when you start doubting it, it is because you do want a second one.

I got a visitor from overseas who is very keen on doing some horse riding. Can you book on the same day? Where exactly are the horses? What time do they start on a Sunday. She will be very happy to do it, but just got tomorrow morning.

My child has been in contact with chicken pox and we are planning to go away in the next few days. I am worry that he develops a rash while we are away and that we won't be allowed on the plane on the way back if he does. What's the incubation period? what are the possibilities of he getting chicken pox? Thank you

Hi We are travelling to Charmonix with an 11, 5 and 2 year old in January. We are staying in a place near Les Houches. It is coming from the above floor manifold. We did call the manufacturer and they say we should contact the installer, so trying to find out who the installer was.

Haven't had much luck with the guy who sold the property, so trying to get someone else to have at look at it. We will probably contact the conveyancer, but wanted to check if it was something simple first that can be solved quickly.

Hi, We are having problems with the underfloor heating in one of the floors, it was installed last year and it has been used just one winter. When it is on it makes a funny noise and does not heat up, the other floor is working fine. Does anybody know what could be the problem or who can we contact to check it out/fix it? We didn't install it ourseles but the person who sold us the house. Any advice will be greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Lucky you Pebbles. I have had just one really good cleaner who used to clean with her husband, they moved back to her home country 6 years ago and since then I have not found anyone like them. I decided to change cleaner once a year at least, as they do decrease the quality of cleaning after awhile. I made sure I put everything in writing from the beginning, every single thing I want them to do, otherwise they just limit themselves to the basis. Mine works 3 hours a week including ironing, however I made sure the house is tidy and there is not mess lying around, I also tidy up the kitchen and made sure there are no dirty dishes, so she can concentrate on the cleaning and ironing. I tried 4 hours before, but noticed they were just wasting time. I pay ?10 an hour. I would like someone to take pride of the house and have initiative; however I believe I will need a full time house keeper for that.

Hi, I really struggle with my toddler to let me brush his teeth, all he does is eat the toothpaste. I am worried that his teeth are getting deteriorated, he is 20 months old. Any advice? Do your children cooperate?
