Nope! You are a fortunate woman and the Fates smile upon you! spymum PS: I have a major 'thang' for gardening guys, is he cute?! (Blog: Posh Mum)

Eeek! Thanks for posting the link Blinder99; my hair has turned grey with fear - is this what I have to look forward to? I shall emigrate to Argentina on eldest's thirteenth birthday! Very well written but deeply scary! Those kids could probably do with a day's hay baling. On balance, make it a week!! Hang in there Shambles! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Poor Shambles! Mine are not there yet, but I can see the signs! The writing is on the wall - mini moods, scowls and irritated shrugs are now part of the repertoire. Having watched my friends and their daughters it all seems to get better around fourteen/fifteen so don't despair! A quick walk around the garden and a (very) large glass of red wine (any wine really!!) will see you through! And you can always vent to me! My eldest rivals Victor Meldrew when he really gets going! Hope you are feeling better, and things are better today. spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

You are Brian - and so's your wife. spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Ken and his wife are nice and he always gives my youngest a sweetie, so we like him! There is also a good barbers on Wood Vale, and there is that cool, trendy place on the North Cross Road; they do a really good cut on my boys. spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Sounds fab. (makes swift note to update wardobe - and to check ED for any wandering nude males). spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

SimonM - don't you mean America Fererra? Spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Harsh but fair, SimonM, harsh but fair! So this spring, the girls will be doing their fantasy fashion thing while the guys have come over all exhibitionist, and will be indulging in a spot of male nudity; typical!! spymum (Blog; Posh Mum)

Haha! good one SimonM!

True. But more importantly, this spring, what will you be wearing? spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

I dunno about that; if Keth Richards suddenly jumped out at me in a dark alleyway asking for a light, I'd run for the hills! Father Time has been most cruel to that man. And the copious amounts of smack were a bad idea. Raddled. spymum (blog: Posh Mum)

Alan Dale you had better get your skates on if you do want to snag that family house - ED has been on an amazing up for the last six years now, and it just seems to be gathering momentum. Pricewise, you may be better off looking for that family house in Camberwell! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

BM, think Marianne Faithful or Keith Richards! Or possibly Kate Moss ten years from now! (Miaow!) spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

This spring I shall be mostly wearing.... A short baby doll dress, complete with black footless leggings and gold ballet slippers so that I look just like the trendy shopgirls in 'ed' and The Dulwich Trader. (White van man beware - from behind I will look gorgeously twenty-something, but from the front like an even more raddled Janice Dickinson!) spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

I wonder if they have 'the special stuff' in William Rose's? They are such a posh shop and the posh eat all kinds of strange and peculiar things.... spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

tvam "mad lizzie" in somerfield today!
spymum replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Louisa, I think she would really have appreciated a 'shake it out' or a 'woo!' - you must do it if you see her again! (tee hee!) So she wasn't in Pans People or Legs & Co either?! For years I assumed she was one of those famous TOTP dancers that my dad used worship and adore! Oh well, I'll stop rambling on now! spymum -

Legs & Co - that's right! SimonM, you are showing your age, petal! (as am I!). spymum (Blog: Posh Mum) -
Ha Ha! Poetic justice! Buggy mums rule! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

When I was a strident City lass, I used to mentally swear at all the (now that I think about it, very tired looking) mummies that would bash their buggies straight into the back of my calves, (uining my expensive shiny tights thereby). Most of the time they never even noticed and I would mutter audible imprecations. Two children later, I realise they were operating on auto-pilot, totally deprived of sleep, and should have been congratulated for successfully attempting a trip on the Tube, fully dressed and clothed, with all the attendent gubbins (plus baby)! I apologise! (And this is said by a woman who walked down High Street Ken pushing a buggy with her blouse unbuttoned. But it was an ugly maternity bra, and not my favourite Aubade!) spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Thanks Fractionater ;-) Sorry you had to send your lovely Bengal away, but cute looking dogs and cats do get nicked, (thieiving scuzzbuckets) look at all those sad little posters on the trees. Never mind, the country air will be good for his health! Chartwell, I'm laughing at the image of the foxes online - at the local internet caff on LL maybe? And Bald Marauder - an even more disturbing image!!! heh heh! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Is she still lean and limber? Someone once told me she was in Pans People - was that true? spymum (Blog: Posh Mum) -

Wow Georgia Bullock sent 80 hits!! You go girl! ;-) spymum (Blog: Posh Mum) -
And the Times.....but I'm deeply, deeply unsuccessful!! And thanks Bald M! ;-) How I used to hate those awful appraisal thingys; you had to write all about your small achievements in PC, positive, Dilbert-like jargon and it took ages because you had forgotten what (if anything) you had achieved. Or you made it up! Then you had to sit with your bosses in a big room (with biscuits) while they told you what you hadn't achieved (also couched in slippery, upbeat PC jargon). Then you 'negotiated' and replied to their reply. Then you got a very, very small pay rise, left the room in a huff (and started looking for another job)! MikeBate is wonderful, so everyone copy his appraisal and hand it in! No matter what the job, they'll never notice! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)

Working from home - I really should disconnect my internet cos when I get too bored with what I am doing I surf instead of working. Like now for example! Endless hours of precious time (happily) wasted! spymum (Blog: Posh Mum)
