I used to know a roads planner and despite them all having qualifications re planning, traffic flows, approach angles, bend radii etc., they used to draw roundabouts in using their coffee cups.

One of the cars is a MK2 cortina, possibly a Vauxhall Victor next to it. Next to that a VW beetle. The yellow van is a Morris, I think. Not too sure about the other one though. Possibly an Austin Maxi? Mid 70's?

I can second that. All you are trying to do is either slow them down or make the little scrotes go elsewhere. Most of the time they want to be in and out in about 2 minutes which is why portable electronics are the main choice. -
