Barbara is retiring after nearly 30 years running the business, Whitehall is taking over all the secondary schools & St Anthony's and Thomas school & sport in West Dulwich is taking Rosemead prep school & Holy Trinity primary school. I would like to wish Barbara and her daughter all the best for the future and enjoy her retirement.

Don't know about the dolls, but do you remember Bratz dolls are they the same size cause their outfits were quite funky and they might still sell them on eBay in a mixed bundle.I'm abit out of touch now as my child is 11 and it's all about I-phones and laptops.

Just to let you all know I had a nightmare with my choices on March 1st this year I only put 3 choices on my Southwark list and than Charter ED as it was a separate application. I didn't get New Charter and gave up as I was 139 on the waiting list and than got none of my 3 choices, Southwark gave me Harris Peckham academy on Peckham High street, it was a very stressful time. I would advise everyone to go to all the open days and really think about what you put down cause if you just fill up the list to make the 6 choices you could get the one that you really didn't want. Many of my sons school friends did get one of their 3 choices but everyone can't so there is about a 10% chance you won't get anything you wanted. Luckily it all worked out OK for us, because a lot of parents who got New Charter and one of their choices on Southwark application declined New Charter maybe because of the temporary site and having to get the mini buses to Camberwell. So we got offered a place about 2 months after offer day. My son started last Monday and loves it, the mini bus service is fantastic, the teachers and heads are great,and when it does move to its permanent site at Dulwich hospital it will be another great school to have in ED. Also just to let you know the catchment is quite small, the pupils are all from Dog kennel hill, Goose green, St John & st Clements, Bessener grange and Goodrich.

Try Thomas's school & sport on Croxted rd they have got a plain black rucksack ( larger size ) with thick padded straps for extra support on the back for 19.99.

Ours came back on at 8.45 we are on St Aidan's but it wasn't the whole street, just certain houses on different grids.

Hi I have lived on St Aidan's for 7 years I live right in the middle & my very small garden backs on to Marcus Garvey Mews.I have never had any problems & the mews is very quiet, no-one walks round the back unless you live there or you are visiting, I love the Rd it is very quiet & is great if you have kids ( Goodrich primary school ) is just up the Road which is a great school. I would always be security minded where ever I lived I have a good alarm system & a intercom system at my front door with camera's that ADT fitted & doesn't cost a fortune. Hope this helped you make up your mind about buying on the rd, might see you! Teecee
