Now I remember why I never post on forums!

I live in Brighton now but still have a flat in ED. Lots to do for families in Brighton and surrounding area. Weather forecast isn't great though. Rye is nice but much quieter (and a longer journey). Things to do: - Aquarium @ Sea Life Centre - Pier (amusements, fairground rides) - Royal Pavillion - Wander round North Laine and The Lanes - Druscillas (http://www.drusillas.co.uk ? a bit further out) - Devil's Dyke/South Downs Places to eat: - Bills (a must see) - Giraffe - Sussex Yeoman Pub (nr station) - Carluccios/Strada/etc Hope this helps, Laurence

I've already been in touch with Mark about some sort of colloboration so no need to worry you loyal folk. And no I'm not about to start a chain of other sites. I'm doing this as I live in the area and wanted one site that brought all the best bits of other sites together and gave them a shiny new look. As well as adding some new features. Watch this space.

... an american pool bar/diner like elbow room. No pool tables in SE22 (other than the Plough urgh)! I think it would do well. Also we need a good Italian restaurant on Lordship Lane - close the Mexican, anyone? Looks like we'll get a fishmongers and I'm sure it'll clean up as the butcher has. A decent swimming pool would be nice, as would a cinema. I say they close the Wetherspoons in Forest Hill and convert it back to a cinema.
