  1. A bit of a generalisation(as KidKruger replied)to assume the person would need or want a pint of beer from the pub. Not all homeless people are alcoholics and not helpful to feed peoples habits.
  2. I work with the homeless and the disadvantage and I'm afraid this kind of thing is a fact of life. Obviously the bourgeoisie, entitled of ED are unaware of how the other half live. There are going to be far more people thrown into this situation by no fault of their by end of this crisis. So sorry to hear you were spooked and unsettled SnakeFilth by someone minding their own business, trying to take some shelter in the comfort of his own car. May I suggest you take a different route so you are not spooked and unsettled. Put yourself in their shoes because I for one know if I was in that situation I would be spooked and unsettled. If you are not able to offer this person some practical help and support, I suggest you leave them well alone before they are hounded from this location.
  3. Hi I went to see him Christmas morning and take a parcel. Apparently when he came back Christmas eve he found his shelter had been on fire. The fire brigade attended and put out the fire, but all his belongings and bedding were either burnt or wet. Not sure whether it was done maliciously or by him accidentally, as he does smoke. His shelter is now exposed to the elements and the space is a mess. While I was there a couple arrived who seem to look after him. They were taking him to their home for Christmas dinner. Another person arrived with a chocolate Christmas log. Is there any handymen out there who could help him rebuild his shelter and provide tarpaulin? He also needs clothes and bedding.

  5. I highly recommend Steve. He removed two trees for me. Did a great job, cleaned and tidy up. He was very helpful and tied back a bush for me. Steve consulted me through out the job to make sure he was removing the right branches/trees. He is a very pleasant, polite guy. He is coming back to decorate my bathroom. I would definitely use him again.
