Brilliant local personal trainer - David Wilson
gingertom replied to Valerie Rowe's topic in Reviews
I am inveterately lazy around exercising, but was feeling my age. Back in November I contacted David to start the weight training I had been told I needed. Whilst I cannot say that I love exercising as yet, it absolutely is the case that I feel stronger, more flexible and happier with the direction of traffic! David has been patient with me, is always encouraging and positive. He has also given me a manageable training schedule which even I mostly stick to between our training sessions. I am really grateful to David for the work to date, and definitely recommend Him to others looking to start or develop an exercise schedule. -
My son lost a black leather wallet on or near the 176 bus on Saturday 25th September. He travelled from Denmark Hill to Upland Road. The bus was terminating at Forest Hill. Contains his vaccination card, ?5 note and his (now cancelled) Oyster card. But said wallet has sentimental value so he'd love to get it back. I'd love to hear from you if you found it - please DM me. Thanks.

Our much loved female 4 year old tabby cat (with white face and socks - see photo) has not been seen since Saturday. She was wearing a black elastic collar and bell. She goes out behind Lordship Lane and Court Lane but has never shown any interest in roads. If anyone has seen her I would love to know.

Another recommendation for Andy. I initially saw him for shoulder problems and general massage following a stressful period at work. Andy is currently addressing an old knee injury very effectively. His manner is really good and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I am happy to add my thanks to Andy, who came round at short notice to hang an extremely large mirror and some shelving. A real relief to find someone so helpful and professional. His communication and promptness were especially welcome as the timeframe was so short.

Someone on another thread said the furthest first round offer this year was 1100m. I have no idea whether this is lower than usual or how much it is likely to change after the inevitable shake down of places.

Yes - firmly locked to a bike stand. Away for about half an hour. Gggrrrrrr! Will look at local forums etc to see if for sale as well. Thanks.

Hi there Long shot, but we had 2 locked bikes stolen from outside the Half Moon pub yesterday afternoon at 4pm. One is my son's beloved red Islabike racer with distinctive new royal blue handlebar tape. The other is husband's black Cannondale road bike. Am very annoyed as the adult bike is used for commuting every day. Reported to police who logged it. Have also looked on Bikeshd and Gumtree. Any other ideas what to do to try and track them down? And please do PM me if, on the off chance, you see/are offered either. Thanks.

My 11 year old son, having pestered me into buying the wretched game for our computer, has moved on to relentlessly trying to persuade me to buy "mods" for it - I believe they modify the basic game. There seem to be endless options offered on line and I worry about what I am downloading onto my (iMac) computer. I wonder if someone could either confirm they are all pretty safe or tell me where I can find safe downloads to appease him because I am most definitely the meanest mother in his class.
