Sorry, but the "hurt" felt by animal lovers everywhere as a result of this (as you quite rightly put it) disgusting tweet, is not even remotely comparable to the hurt and potential damage faced by the business owners and their staff. Yes the person that sent the tweet needs to be dealt with (by the police), but all those that jumped on the business owners without knowing the facts, are idiots (funny that in Brulysses' case they actually used that word to describe someone else). And those that actually threatened them should be dealt with (again by the police) more harshly than the moron that actually sent the tweet. So no apology from Brulysses, let alone editing the OP to state that they were full of shit. What a surprise.
  5. I remember going to nursery/preschool on the corner of Townly Road and Lordship Lane. And the house on the corner opposite was the GP surgery until they moved further up LL.

SEN/Disabilities aside, anyone that lives within 2 miles of their kid's primary school and drives them needs shooting. Just bloody walk, it's good exercise for your kids and for you. And anyone that drives their kids to secondary school needs shooting whatever the distance.
  7. And to think it only will have fetched around ?750 as scrap.
  8. I still can't believe some utter cnuts just took that away to (probably) melt down for scrap value. Still, they'll do church roofs, why not a piece of art?

I hope for Spurs fans that they don't end up another Liverpool. Always the bridesmaid, several second or third places, but choke (or literally slip) at the key moments.

  12. It was ther Waverley uniform. I never had a problem to be honest, but I think my sister did one day, and they defo had a bit of a rep. The P3/184 (later 484) I'd get to Aske's used to pass Waverley. I swear all the boys were terrified! ;-)
  13. Sorry, phone typo, "wary".

And THIS^^^ When you still expect to see a paddling pool where the sandpit now is at Hornimans (as well as 2 sandpits that were actually like pits). When you still expect to see a bandstand in Peckham Rye Park, and remember those Sunday afternoons You were weary of girls in red jumpers as a teenager.

    Well said Quids.
  16. I'm sure they'd rest a lot more peacefully if people would stop walking all over them whilst enjoying the woodland.

Evil man? Really? I never voted for him, and he made some big mistake that have ruined his legacy. But evil?

Brand New Stadium, but right next door.
  19. In short, it seems to have been a comment not made by Blair, which right wing websites (that I imagine uncleglen enjoys) have latched on to.

France respect intellectuals in general. Here it's almost seen as a mark of shame now to know what you're talking about.
  23. Sounds like a clear safeguarding issue (neglect). Tell him to sign the papers to hand her back to you, or you'll report him to social services (who have to take safeguarding concerns very seriously).
