Looks like BFS is hanging up his brown envelopes and retiring.
  3. Why is UKIP Supporter top of that list? I agree, but he hasn't actually been rude, and some people are quick to drop arguments and jump straight to fuck off.
  4. Bit of bullying towards GG here because he doesn't agree with the popular view.

He earned a rep at Everton, but when you look at them since he left you have to wonder if he wasn't holding them back a bit.

What possible good would a jail term do? How will this affect her ability to be a good hear surgeon? I have a scar on my face from a university girlfriend. I could probably have had her done for assault. She's now a perfectly respectable mother of 2 working in the NHS. Sometimes we do stupid shit when we're young.
  7. A mere 100 points off the pace.
  8. Of course it would. Health Matters is clearly in SE22. Keep up Mick for goodness sake.
  9. ... the street signs say SE22.
  10. I think the main issue is that the band must not be out of pocket. Most bands have their own amps and instruments, but many bands won't have a PA, so that needs to be hired. Plus offer some petrol money and make sure they're fed and watered. I used to play in a covers band that made good money playing weddings and other functions, but we'd occasionally do something like this for the fun of it. But not if we'd actually end up losing money.
  11. I went in there as a teenager to buy some 501s. Guy didn't do anything leery, but when I went out back to try them on, there was a small sofa, and it and the floor were covered in porn mags. All very odd.

Poor leader. THIS I really wanted the LD's to sweep me off of my feet. Hasn't happened at all.
  13. Not denying any of that. I am just saying that by basically running away form them, Corbyn makes their job easy.
  14. I used to say the same (don't rate Corbyn, but he HAS been given a tough run). I still think there is some truth to it, BUT if he won't play the game at all, and acts like the press are out to get him, then really what can they do. If he doesn't give them anything good to write, they'll just take the piss.

I genuinely think that they make a real effort to play it down the middle, and as such never quite please either side.
  16. I thought Hammond was given quite a hard time by Humphries. Which he should be. I am tired of hearing people saying how right wing and pro tory the BBC is. I just don't see it that way at all. And yes I know there are specific examples, but that doesn't make the corporation biased.

I can believe the story, but I went to school (year below) with one of his sons (no idea if he has more than one), and his name was Bill.

I usually wouldn't pick Liverpool, and won't this coming season. Last summer I genuinely thought we'd do better than we have. Need a defence. Need a lot of things. NEED to keep Coultinho!!!!

Remember going to a Merseyside Derby at Anfield (weekday evening, 0-1 with 3 red cards). When Everton scored these 2 lads in Blue shirts jumped for joy in the Kop. I remember thinking they'd get kicked in, but it was all surprisingly friendly.

I think this largely ties in with the whole middle class cupcake and bunting thing. Weird IMO. Not that there is anything wrong with some of the names. As a teenager I had a girlfriend called Nell. Never met anyone else my age or below with that name, but met several elderly Nells when I worked for social services.

I think people are unsure of the math. And it's down to Labour to have costed it all pretty well. We shall see. > The leak could of course be a fantastic plan and > not an accident at all..... Quite likely IMO. I'll still be voting Labour BTW. New candidate in my area, proper local lass.

I think this is quite a balanced look at things. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2017-39883084 The bit about railways is interesting. It shows that actually it can work and work well to have it in public hands, and gives a recent example of how it has worked well here in the UK. He then spoils it with silly promises, not least halting driverless trains, which is both halting progress, and sucking up to unions.
