You can download the Buycott app and then scan products to see their origins. You can set it to highlight Trump related products and companies.

I’m due with my second child in January and have been reflecting that it’s a shame you don’t do NCT or Bump & Baby with your second. We have some wonderful friends we met at baby class that my daughter has known since she was born, and I’d love my second daughter to have the same. I can’t see that a winter babies whatsapp group has been started so if anyone would like to join one please drop me a DM and I’ll put one together (or let me know if one exists!) Kate x

He’ll need to apply to building control if he’s removing a chimney breast, as that has to be signed off once the work is done. Make sure the joists for your floor are extended to full width of the room once the chimney breast is removed. Ours weren’t (by the previous owner when they removed the chimney breast in the kitchen) and the floor above was dipping by a few inches.

I did an ancestry one recently, it was rather fun! Can’t compare to 23&me though as haven’t done it. I’m American and as the Americans are very into family history, my family tree back to the 1600s had pretty much already been mapped out for me by other members. I think it uses AI to suggest potential/probable ancestors as you work your way back through time, based on what other people have already added. It was also interesting seeing my genetic breakdown, despite both parents being American I am apparently 80% English. Have fun!

Is anyone going to Southwark Recycling Centre?
KateS replied to k_hermana's topic in The Family Room Discussion
If it’s of any use, there is a small electrical recycling bin just outside Denmark Hill station. -
I’m enjoying the photos being in the body of the text, and also being able to see which posts I’ve already read. Thank you so much for your hard work! Long may East Dulwich Forum live on!

Help! I have to feed 3 teenagers for a week
KateS replied to RoundTable's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Big pot of chilli con carne, bulked up with kidney beans and veg. Serve with rice and cheese, and leftovers are great in wraps. Tray bake of sausages or chicken thighs, chopped potatoes, onions and tomatoes. Bake it all in the same tray drizzled with some olive oil. Breakfast for dinner is always fun, eggs, beans, toast, bacon etc. Fish fingers and homemade potato wedges. If all else fails, pop some frozen pizzas in the oven. -

Indeed! However it was during an 8 hour drive and I really was gasping for a cup of tea.

Thank you for reminding me lilaclou! I stopped for a cup of tea at a service station on Monday and was also disappointed to receive a plastic tea bag. Brought my own travel mug and everything. I've just emailed them on [email protected]

?1,750,000 "doer upper" https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-82806968.html I know it's a massively desirable road, and a huge house, but I still find it hilarious. -
Madhur Jaffrey's cookbook Eastern Vegetarian Cooking is really good, I have an old copy that I use for a lot of inspiration when I'm like, what the heck should I do with this brocolli/cabbage/bag of carrots??? I think you can get fresh turmeric from Village Grocer on Bellenden Rd (the one that used to be called Payless).

I may be being over the top, but I am a cat lover and know my neighbourhood cats well, and this fellow seemed lost. This cat was spotted just now around the upper section of Chadwick Rd, photographed through the fence of the Print Village units. I haven?t seen him around here before (pretty sure it?s a him), and he seemed to want to be friendly but also quite nervous, making me feel he may have wandered too far from home and be lost. Lovely markings around eyes, and a thick bottle brush striped tail.

Chadwick Rd, about 22:40 05/06, had a very friendly man knock on my door saying he was a new neighbour of mine, so nice to meet me etc. He was about to dive into his story about how he had parked his car somewhere and needed some money to get it out of the garage, but I stopped him short because I recognised him as having come to door with the same story around Christmas 2016. I really remembered the incident in 2016 and told him so, he had given a different house number that time, and it was a large number and I didn't think my street numbers went up that high. At first he said but how could that be me, I'm your new neighbour, but then sheepishly walked off. Tried to phone 101 non-emergency police, but after 30mins of ringing I gave up and went to bed. Then get all philosophical about how trust and help between neighbours is so important, and was angry that this guy was degrading that trust.

There are still some spaces left for the 9th September class, I teach everything you need to know about quilting from start to finish, and it's a nice day of chatting, tea and cake. Hopefully see some of you there!
