I wouldn't mind also knowing the answer to Sue's last question "I'm interested to know with the laser surgery (I'm far too squeamish to have it done) - what happens when your vision changes as you get older? Do you have to keep on having more surgery every few years? Does it scar?". Once again thanks.

Thank you very much for your response. Could i just enquire as to what your sight problem was because I have been told that I need varifocal glasses with different strengths for each eye.

I wonder if any of you have had this and, if so, how you have got on. Was it worth it? Any problems? I am tempted as I seem to be spending a small fortune every other year on new glasses etc. Thanks.

Recently, on a flight from Orly Airport, I stopped at MacDonalds for a quick burger. Whilst sitting down enjoying my chilli-burger, I saw a couple of mice wandering around the place fairly boldly without fear of human beings. When I pointed this out to the manager of MacDonalds he told me smilingly "they are all over the airport, Sir, but my kitchen is very clean although you may find one or two in your burger". Has anyone seen this at any other airport or local eating establishment?
