  1. Bored? Are you kidding? Really bored.
  2. Sounds like you didn't have a leg to stand on. the older lady, walking stick count just increased by one.
  3. Here we go! Dodgy leg number 2. Again an older woman on crutches. I think time will tell though thats it's not just older women with the Lane Leg. OH MY GOD! BREAKING NEWS! Young man on crutches too!
  4. Got a gig lined up. Wembley Stadium. Ever heard of it? I think it's in some run down part of London somewhere. May 30th 8pm. Hope I can get a band together otherwise I'll have to go solo. *gulp*
  5. Right! Right now on the Lane outside the Post Office, an older lady with a bad leg and a stick. I'm going to start posting regular updates on the Lane Leg Situation. Riveting, stay logged in.
  6. Thanks for the lols peeps. If anyone else is genuinely interested then please email at the address in the first post. Sorry Mike, no offense but as I said you're really good but worlds apart from what I'm thinking of. Cheers. Will.
  7. Pretty sure it's not a pimp limp thing.
  8. Oh dear. This thread is just going to limp along now isn't it?
  9. I'll have to swap the guitar for something a little more obscure. Maybe look into trendy-lardcore. Milkbottles filled to different levels with lard to produce different pitched notes.
  10. Cockroaches. Do we really need them? What are they good for other than surviving the effects of severe catastrophe's such as a nuclear holocaust or the final of Strictly Come Dancing?
  11. Is zapstick a new genre of comedy? Zapstick humour, like slapstick but someone gets electrocuted.
  12. Don't be daft HonaloochieB. Honestly. Some people talk nonsense ;p
  13. How about a one-eyed monkey villain? I'll start putting some draft scripts together.
  14. I was thinking more Rock Opera.
  15. Stuntma. A tribute to my late mother, Evilina Keneval, who tragically died when she misjudged the length of a number 12 bus on her mobility cart.
  16. Just an observation from my daily vantage point on the lane. I have witnessed more people with gammy/dodgy legs in East Dulwich than anywhere else I've ever lived. Is there a specialist leg hospital around here somewhere? There are almost as many dodgy legs as bugaboos.
  17. Stuntman. Hmmm. Ok... any other suggestions for the band name?
  18. Hi. I have played in bands for 17 years or so and used to regularly gig all over the place. I gave up about a year and a half ago when I became a father so that I didn't hold my, then, band back. But really miss it. I'm coming up 32, play guitar and sing a bit and I am mainly interested in stuff like Brand New, Hell is for Heroes, Rueben etc... If you're in a similar boat to me, can sing, play guitar, bass or drums then drop me a line. harrison.will@yahoo.co.uk You don't have to be the best player in the world, just enjoy what you do and be competent enough to keep time. Any questions, contact me. If you want an idea of what I've done before check out the now defunct www.myspace.com/hedstrongmusic Thanks. Will.
  19. I'm reliably informed by a HSBC business manking manager that the Woolwich are dfinately moving into the Barclays building. HSBC were interested in relocating to the Woolwich building and having a dedicated business banking section upstairs. However, I am now led to believe that HSBC will not be moving after all. So the usual aweful cramped 45 minute wait in there applies as usual.
  20. Is this kick about a regular thing? I couldn't make the last one as I had to go to Cheltenham to watch Gillingham play. But since we're playing on Friday this week, thanks to Sky, I'll be free this Saturday for a knock about. I could do with brushing the cob-webs off.
  21. Thanks Polly. I thought he sold sheet music and more classically inclined bits and pieces but I'll check it out.
  22. Righto chief! See you there.
  23. I'd really like to see a decent clothes shop in East Dulwich. I know Ed sells nice things, but at extortionate prices. A nice mens clothes shop ideally. Something with a bit of choice. A music shop. Something that sells a decent selection of CDs not just Keane and Coldplay, but a nice selection of all genres. Also perhaps somewhere that sells instruments. I have a trek on my hands to buy some new strings or a lead for my geetar if I need one that day. A cinema, definately.
  24. Hi. This is still happening, right?
