i think soya milk is a pain in ass for them to make. have to steam it slow so it doesnt mush up. i agree they could use a dif brand. quite like the 'so good' one meself. sainsburys only place ive seen it.

had a top notch rye fry with toast and wifi just today. my weeks treat.a fab morning sitting there thinking how picturesque the park seems to look from the cafe these days. It is I with my soya latte that holds up the queue sometimes. Seems to take longer than a normal latte. Worth the wait.

ditto. rarely get above 3 on a 8meg line. didnt expect 8 but 6 would be likeable. As was suggested I'd be getting.

apart from, its a great place to walk around, there usually some stalls,including i think grub and beer? im sure i remember drinking something. Best bit is the creepy small crypt that they have small ordered tours of. ie can be a queue. Some interesting names down there. You get a guided tour and questions if you wanna.

Was thinking about your post kindred/hyp. cos, a friend gave me a cd by Jane Parker who is a local (ish) jazz singer. Shes pretty good. Very jazz. There are a few singers around, you would get more gigs and still be able to play in the style you like,with one on board. mix vocal toons with instrementals you could. I have a bunch of friends who used to play impro modern jazz fusion whatyoumacalit at Cafe Cairo clapham north. had the place not burned down ....would have been a place to approach. But I'll contact them and see if theyve got any recomendations. so yeah, saying, could be a singer might help.

Hi Adam. Well I'd say your doing the right thing approaching any suitable seeming venue. You keep at em something will stick. have some cd's always ready like business cards..So they can check it out. You know theres always private functions. Parties etc so more people can hear what theyre gonna get if you have some cd's. Im my youth it was 'gotta tape?'. Dont ever be put off by a frosty reception. You might be just what they are looking for at another time.

anyone have an idea? Potterton heating timer has gone a little ape. Even with central heating switched to 'off' ..not on timer..we still get the central heating coming on when we are only (according to the on off lights) heating the tap water. cant seperate central heating from normal hot water anymore. worked for a few years previous. Im thinking new box needed but you never know. Might be a common thing.
