  3. Petitou neat people run it.like it. so they got popular? Been there quite a while now.dont bully! they deserve a thumbs up. Can be a bit model mumsy sure. Took my liluns there one day, was a treat. They Loaded my cappu with pepper and salt. Waitress was in on it somehow.
  4. Not good. Chiropodist is a wierd place to burgle no? few sharp tools lots of cut bits of dry skin. Not a lot of petty cash. Suggests maybe they dont know what a chiropodist is? If a burgler I think Id have given the place a miss. Nero Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > An attempt to burgle the chiropodist on Woodwarde > Road resulted in at least ?1000 worth of damage. > It happened in the last week. Also, several > properties on Barry Road have been burgled in > roughly the same period. Nero
  5. good find. aluminium skies
  6. its very quiet for planes today. noticebly.
  7. amazes me people wanting to pay all this money. There are fanatastic long running fitness forms around where you can get real fit for half/ quarter the price. Full on ashtanga will do the trick (total challenege)more than anything.,pilates (zz) will do the trick, Asian martial arts, parks for walking running, local hatha/iyengar classes everywhere for the not so full on, swimming pools. Believe me Fusion does not like you. They pay the teachers zilch so they have no good ones and have often unclean rooms. You want to try the harbour club chelsea. super expensive real big con that. More often than not its about finding 'a partner'who is loaded. So when people kinda dont, they drop out. New place ll, what about it? half erect harbour club pretentsion. sorry maxsharp. rope em in eh? who cares. Your local sweathalls hard working teachers trying to keep the price down, know your name, like you ,care about you, do the job well. You only have to look in local coffee bars ,health shops and youll find people dedciated to making you well and fit, live longer and so on. Then you can party harder eh? gyms suck. money machines, only. do not respect their staff behind the scenes. Seen it. (sorry, in a mood this morning)
  8. gone for no raisin?
  9. A technical masterpiece for sure, scary as hell when it went up in smoke that time. The last flypast, the 3 of them was impressive/sad/good riddance all in one. Just, a tiny amount of people in it for the din it made. Could not work at all till it had passed. From my experience aircraft safety has greatly improved, sure the engines are getting greener but things go wrong usually at take off or landing. They aren't actually landing in London, they are in descent though. 777's are flown by mouse. Could'nt believe it when I saw it. Its hella busy in the skies here. I bet theres more planes over London than Rio.
  10. I think its been bad here ever since I moved here. Escalates in holiday season.Concord was a total insult. Audio violence even. For a project i was doing one time a couple of years ago I put hi quality microphones out the attic window and recorded planes. It was then that I realised there is no gap in the sound as one plane passes by and another comes in. I dont know to much about chemicals dropping to earth from plane fumes but I'd imagine its raining fine particles constantly over our part of London. Other worry is a plane dropping on us.When theres as many as there are already surely the ratios of risk clock up. The planes bother me also because when Im recording at home they spoil my takes. Theres a steep bank that planes do over here and the engines make that spooky de_accelerate/de tune. Comes out on my tapes. Pissed me off so much one day I made a sound collage of banking planes detuning.I couldnt think straight with alla that going on. http://badapplesmusic.com/messin/planes2.gif

  14. hi east dullies some good suggestions there. eno prince cave.agree.occured to me that quincy jones oughta get a mention for being more decades ahead in activity time but still alive and busy.50/60jazz era, miles alla them. 70s themes such as ironside, michael jakson albums hip hop era blah. quite a titan. guy from blurs nicked kuti music gotta long way to go before he's anywhere near that, much though i like the albarn/afrobeat crossings. lee perry is a good one but hes kinda just done teh same great thing ish all these years. the list of others has many different directions for each. jus throwin quincy J in. oh cass Einsturzende Neubauten..one of the best things i ever seen was them supporting the bad seeds in rotterdam pandoras box mid 80's. both acts where awesome that night.
  15. yeah, nasty. guy up the road selling classic cars too. been for years. citreons, mercs..zzzz

    online

hi everybody. Last night, did my tax online. all sweet. First time tho, for me and felt good to be done on time. This morning I turned on the news and there was a report about how we will now be encouraged to do this, perhaps to the point of compulsary. It is considered 'secure' for all people. "EXCEPT" mp's and royal family and others who will not file online. As their security is at risk. These are the very people who's expenses blah, should be a little more public eh?

    Screaming kids

Kids screech. my 2 start fighting from the moment they are up. Being girls they superscreech. For a long time i was still a 'non kid' person and would pick them up take em out of anywhere with people around who would be irritated. Before it got too bad, whip em outside let them get over it. mainly because i couldnt stand kids in coffee houses etc. i remember how it annoyed me.However Ive given up the uptight stuff. Sometimes you just cant stop them. They are raw monkey. Sometimes i just let em screech because, theres something important needs attention. Neighbours have politely asked if i could shut em up a bit. (same people who have relentless banging decoraters in for weeks on end..noise they themselves whilst at work dont get to hear.) We were all children once we all screeched. Feels good to screech. Ask James brown. he'll tell ya. oops oh. well he used to. Ask bob Plant. Hes 60 or something. Still screeching.

  20. kiii. so nuts I quite liked that.
  21. When you impatiently stick a knife (as you are told not to) through the inside of a freezer a horrendous stinking gas (freon) nearly poisons you to death and the machine is killed. Worse if its a fridge freezer.(like ours. Tall thing.) Seems it has to be 'properly disposed of'. It wasnt me! ok? I like watching them defrost. I dont mind time going slowly. But there was some hacking and I wondered if anyone knew of 'pro' Freezer picker uppers. that also will help to get the thing out of a kitchen unit. Its a faff. Any ideas? Local? Is this thread dead in the water? Thing is we need to do this quick. Kids to feed blah.
