    Parking at King's

    Thank you
  2. Does anyone have advice for parking near King's if the car park is full? Are the roads nearby busy or residential parking?
  3. The Goswell Road indian visa place had a photo booth in it last time I went there
  4. You need to go to your privacy settings and under the How do I stop someone bothering me option you can block them. Sounds like you need to check all your security settings if your wall is open to anyone.

    Travel advice

If your train comes into Euston then you could consider the tube to Elephant and Castle and then 12 bus goes up Barry Road. I'm not suggesting it's any quicker than BigED's route. But maybe fewer changes.
  6. Apparently Peckham library had 500 so I would expect Camberwell library to have a similar amount tomorrow morning.
  7. I would choose somewhere near where you work. When it gets busy the bridges get shut and getting anywhere can take awhile. Its even less fun in the rain.
  8. Try http://www.saynoto0870.com/ for alternative numbers, it lists 0845 numbers.
  9. I might have my roads confused, but why don't you join the Surrey Canal Path earlier when you can do it as a left turn? Or use the crossing from Burgess Park to the canal path?
  10. There is a useful twitter account @2012ticketalert that will let you know when tickets go on sale. No guarantees but it appears to have helped some people.
  11. I want to get a bike rack for my car so I can take my bike next time I head out for a weekend in the country. Any suggestions on where to go locally to buy one?
  12. The website is a little confusing for booking the appointment. The Goswell road branch is much quicker and quieter than Victoria.
  13. If you like this stuff check out the ISS will pass over London at mag -3.5 at 19:29 on 25/02. Moves from 20? elevation W to 35? elevation S over 2 min
  14. Thanks for the recommendations. We will definitely be going during term time and will probably rent a self catering place for a week as it sounds like there is plenty to see without having to run up mountains. And I am very happy to drive around as long as I get a glass of wine at the end of the day.
  15. I've never been to the Lake District and am thinking of taking my mum as she really would like to see it before she loses her eyesight completely. Does anybody have any recommendations of where to stay and things to do? She can't walk far so nothing too physical.
  16. This link explains the o2 security alert Sophos
  17. Done and good luck!
  18. Thank you very much. Don't forget to buy the new single ;-)
  19. Could it be this? http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/event.php?eid=182253335176965
  20. At London Bridge it will be low tide at 08:13 and 20:50 so I think a bit earlier in the SQ area... http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast_and_sea/tide_tables/2/113/
  21. Surely British cucumbers are safe, otherwise why do we teach kids to put condoms on them in sex ed classes?
  22. Yes us people living in these new developments are by and large sociable and respectable. A couple of my neighbours have been here since the new houses were built and they have been very friendly and welcoming to me. Transport links are brilliant and the Chinese takeaway across the road from your house is pretty good. Before I moved here I had a look around at nighttime and daytime. I wouldn't walk around on my mobile phone late at night but that rule applies to many places in London.
  23. I used to play 3 times a week before I moved to London so I would definitley be up for it.
  24. I agree with peckhamboy, it really does depend on what time of day you are going. I usually go via Blackheath and M25 and othertimes Blackwall Tunnel and pick up the A12. But never south to M25.
