I agree, why should Louisa have to put up with everyone's 'take' on her but she doesn't have a voice in that area. Wrong on every level...

Hahahaha...he was, super nasal. That and the strange staring into camera was a bit odd. You knew that he had had Leadership training all week! His bits just made me laugh because he got it so horribly wrong. Cringey Mili! I have no clue about anything he said because I couldn't get past the weird behaviour.

whats abbotswood like behind sainsburies?
speedbird replied to shell's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I know someone that lives there and she loves it. It is quiet and she has a really sunny garden. Doesn't ever want to move out. As Loz says, nothing ever came up for sale there till last year when they made lots of money, then several went on the market. Good place though. -
I completely agree with trying everything to save the cottages. I just cannot work out why that horrible green container was given permission to stay there as Melbourne tyres. That is the eyesore I would question.

Agreed - who in hell comes to the defence of a 'man of the cloth' that downloads films of child torture for his own pleasure? He jumped before he was pushed. Shame on him. A coward too.

RPC, you are probably right, a bitch I may be(in this case). She (NS), incites rage in me. And the hair is just plain old, out of control frizzy hair. The sister (Julia) is clearly able to tame hers.... I rest. Quite funny though... Big Brother.

If you want to be contrary camberwell70, I would suggest that are many things you could choose to argue. The hair(of Nadia Sawahla - for those that need clarity), can only be compared to a crazed lunatic from the 18th century. Her personality matches said hair.

Yes, Nadia falls into the category of Kate Winslet, Keira Knightly et al. She makes my blood boil, so false. Hateful woman that needs to get some product for that hair too.

easiest journey to Heathrow in morning peak?
speedbird replied to Bluelagoon's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Leave an hour earlier and drive, you'll be so glad you did on the return sector. If you are in business you can use lounge so no concerns about the hour earlier. If not, travel in peak, suitcase, hand luggage, not nice. So much at Heathrow now. Enjoy, whatever you do. -
With all due respect ChezzaB, how is supplying rucksacks/clothing to people in the West End helping the community? Centrepoint have a much bigger operation that helps many more people sleeping rough on the streets of London. Clothes for Causes is random, has no definitive guidelines and you feel that your money could be used to line the pockets of those that own it. Good for you doing your bit.

Pavements in poor condition and parking nightmare
speedbird replied to bagpuss's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
No money for actually fixing the pavements when some local idiot must have decided to put fading coloured lights in a semi circle around ED station. Just cross from there and you almost fall over the pavements are so uneven. But no, bright coloured lights that fade in and out, much better investment by the council and our hard earned cash. Which bright spark did that? -

The Dulwich estate ? modern day reverse Robin Hood ?

It could well be that theres more to > this than meets to eye Not sure what 'side' you refer to. Do you think that if this weren't a charitable status we would be so lucky as to walk and live amongst one of the greenest areas in London? I have lived all my life in Dulwich (East, West and Village) and consider myself lucky to live in an area that offers so much. The parks, the fields, the Gallery, the Chapel, the Village itself. Most of those areas are funded by the Dulwich Estate. I have lived in houses years ago that sat on the Estate. High fees, strict building laws, all annoying, but have protected a beautiful area that has remained amazing. Charitable status? In my opinion, they deserve it for what they have retained in a wonderful area that has so much to offer. -

Just read in Vanity Fair that his parents lived in Forest Hill, London..... So it may be true after all.
