Hello, I am looking for some part time hours during the week to look after children, I have two teenage boys and was a Nanny for babies and children before I entered the corporate world. I live in Sydenham but brought my two boys up in East Dulwich so familiar with the area. I run my own business so can be flexible with hours, Please get in touch via Private Message if you need some extra help. Thank you!

Did anyone else get approached last night on crystal palace road by two boys dressed in black With scarves around their faces? I went to open my door and they came up to me pointing a finger pretending to be Have a gun. They ran off when I opened the door. Not sure what they were after but hardly what you want when you are walking by yourself?

Night time potty "training" - train or wait?

Definatey listen to them and if they want to not wear nappies then dont make them. My son just after three started asking not to wear nappies at night and now gets up himself to use the loo. I think if you make them feel like its a big deal for them and that its something they are in control of. Maybe introduce a star chart or some rewards for dry nights? -
No need we spent three months travelling going to OZ, NZ and Europe with a Phil and Ted and did lots of internal flights in Oz with a double buggy and apart from the odd squeak it is still going strong. You just need to make sure you take out things from the basket underneath when travelling.

Hi there just wondered if anyone was interested in starting up an evening group which meets up to chat on a regular basis over a glass of wine or food. There may even be a group already not sure. Just thought it would be nice to meet a few more people and share ideas about working and keeping sane as a mum!! Please let me know your thoughts?

Definately cranial osteopath all the way, my son was screaming continuously had bad reflux and wouldnt settle after four or five treatments at the Dulwich Therapy rooms he was so much better. You have to bear with the treatments though as they do get worse before they get better. I would definately recommend this and am so glad I found out about it as it is such a touch time when they wont settle.

Nelson replied to charlottep's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I went there today for my first session and enjoyed it and can now say that I am hooked and will be going back regularly so thanks charlotte for letting me know it was there as after having two children its a great way to get back in shape! -
My son who is nearly two had it for nearly a week. I now have it mildly, being pregnant I expected to get it with a low imune system. But I would try and keep away as after doing the flight to NZ with him a couple of years ago and this year at Xmas facing the prospect of having two on the flight I wouldnt if possible want to deal with that as well.

Tonight we placed an order with them for a curry. We were very disappointed after receiving the order to find that there were things missing. We then phoned them back only to be ask about the missing items, a curry and a bread. We were then told we didnt order the extra curry and bread. But after finally saying that they would redeliver the order they also said they would and charge us for the effort and their mistakes. One hour later the missing items appeared at our door and had gone up by twice the amount. The delivery man said the owner was taking the orders and was the unhelpful person who said he would charge the extra and take back the curry that they wrongfully delivered. Very disappointed with them as we having being using this curry house for over four years. To top things off the curry was oily and not that great. I would now say to think twice before using them as they clearly do not value the locals custom.

Curry Cabin is OK. However, there is one great dish in there which is the only one worth having and that is the lamb shank bhuna - they get the lamb shank from William Rose and marinate it for 24 hours, very tasty. Rest of the food is average though. Cant beat Tandori Nights, every dish cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients.
