  1. If you are, or you know someone who is, looking for a bookkeeper, then please get in touch via private message. Thank you.
  2. If this is you or you know the above, please PM me.
  3. Caution: Last night (c7pm) trains were leaving ED towards Caterham. However, by 9pm trains towards LB were NOT stopping at ED. Make of that what you will.
  4. I am hoping you will see this. If so, please could you send me a PM. I have your bank card. Thanks.
  5. Sue, I think that the surgery is usually closed for a large chunk of the day every Thurs. for training. You might have caught them during those hours. I called them quite late today outside of their training hours and got through no problem.
  6. Not strictly comedy, but I do end up laughing...COLUMBO on 5USA! Happy New Year Doc!
  7. It's like a fairy tale. The Pink and Blues get turfed out, they move to an alternative ground, they win the league, they are promoted, they are allowed to returned to CH, and they win on their first match back at home to a crowd of 3,000. Well fought and long may you continue. (tu)
  8. Tee hee - I love it, BNG. Very creative, and I especially like the way you have included the "anti-heroes" too @ 9 across - very clever. (tu) (tu) (tu)
  9. Good evening, Tchaikovsky - especially his ballets.
  10. Hello, Sorry to give you more work...but...there is a question for you on the Dulwich Hamlet thread. I didn't post it, but I, too, would like to know the answer. Indeed, it's a good question! Thanking you in advance.

Best news this year for me. About fecking time though. Thanks for posting, isnottropical.

Thanks for the update, BNG. And @ James Barber: what's happening about (what looks to me like) the permanent barricade?
  14. Update. We had two poor and frustrating experiences due to incomplete and sloppy work with 2 different decorators who were contracted to paint our hall. In the end we called Brian to come and put the whole mess right - which he did (well Malachi did!). Whilst we were at it, we got Brian to quote us for 3 bedrooms. We also obtained 2 other quotes and, although not cheap, Brian's came in at the cheapest. Again, a beautiful job. I wish I'd used him from the outset; the others may have been "cheap" but in the end I ended up paying more because their work had to be put right. So, thank you Brian and Malachi.

Pleased to see the cup - which I didn't see at the game due to the sun being in my eyes. Thanks ruffers.

  18. OMG - those penalties....I nearly had a heart attack... Well worth suffering the blistering heat...a wonderful afternoon...and evening... WELL DONE TO DULWICH HAMLET and thanks to Tooting and Mitcham for the loan of their lovely ground.
  19. WE - ARE - GOING UP WE ARE - GOING UP! WE - ARE - GOING UP WE ARE - GOING UP! ------ UP YOURS, MEADOW RESIDENTIAL! >:D<
  20. I, too, have lots of bees...I have dedicated a small area in my garden to wildlife and the bees seem to LOVE it.
  21. I feel glad of the good news - snathani, dc, and BrandNewGuy. The Pink and Blues have had a lot to contend with of late. Thank you. UP THE HAMLET!
  22. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Saw the banner. I think it said "I'm so angry I'm > prepared to catch pneumonia" :)) That's the one (tu) !
  23. Sue Wrote: > It was blooming cold though! Fecking freeeeezing. Did you see the guy in the pink shorts (or his underpants) Sue? I reckon he was from up North! :)) I also loved the banner which said something like: "I'm prepared to catch pneumonia". Nice to be back indoors.
  24. It felt good to be part of this cause on this freeeeeezing day. I especially loved the fact that the event was sufficiently big for a police attendance and for the traffic to be stopped! Thumbs up too, to the guy who (I can only imagine) wore perhaps the only pink item in his wardrobe...some flimsy pink shorts...or his underpants...what a stalwart! UP THE HAMLET!
