  1. 2 x white polystyrene boards, one side of each painted black. Measuring 45cm x 107 cm. Used to bounce light around for photography purposes. Collection from SE23.
  2. These shoes have only been worn a couple of times and are in very good condition. Leather, size 4.5, £45 (currently £90 on Decathlon) Happy for you to come and try before you buy. Collection from Forest Hill SE23
  3. Yellow and black 24 inch Pinnacle Aspen kids hybrid bike. Used but in very good condition as it's been stored in the garage, with just a few paint scratches. Please message me if you'd like more pictures or any information. . Bought from Evans, and recommended for ages 7-11. They are on sale there for £230 (which is 50% off the full price of £460) . They're very good, lightweight bikes. Please see the Evans website for more details about the bikes (I can't guarantee the spec is identical but it'll give you an idea).
  4. Please note the photo shows a few extra which are now sold - the price has been reduced from £15 to £5 accordingly!
  5. I bought this lovely cupboard from here a few years ago and added shelves so that it could be used for linen and towels. However you could take them out easily if you wanted to use if for hanging clothes (the rail and hooks are still in place) . It was in an alcove in our old house so I didn't paint the sides. If you wanted to touch up the paint work (or paint it a new colour) I used Annie Sloan chalk paint in Antoinette and then buffed some clear wax on (I'm happy to explain the method if you're interested in the task, but it's very easy to do in a couple of hours). The paint can be bought through Annie Sloans website and many other places (including B and Q and possibly Eds in East Dulwich - that's where I got the paint originally). Collection from Forest Hill. We got it in the boot of a car but be warned, it's pretty heavy as it's real wood and very sturdy. I'll be very sad to see it go, the carving on the front is really beautiful, but it just isn't needed in our new home and I'd like the space back. £45 or nearest offer. Height : 155cm / Width: 74cm / Depth: 50cm
  6. Selling this Mr Men library of books - as you can see from the pictures the box is a bit worn due to how much we read the books to my kids when they were little. But the books themselves are in pretty good condition. 46 books in total for £15. Collection from Forest Hill in SE23
  7. Mixed bundle of 28 x Elle Decoration magazines - dating 2018 - 2023. £5, collection from Forest Hill SE23
  8. Large and very sturdy cardboard boxes. Ideal for packing soft furnishings if you're moving house or want to store in the garage.
  9. Another recommendation here from me. I have very thick hair and he managed to cut and tame it perfectly just before lock down. I am looking forward to safer times when I can have him cut my hair again. Also, Fede is a very lovely and funny man; no awkward 'where are you going on holiday' conversations to endure!
  10. Does anyone know if and when Kingsdale let parents know about movement on their waiting lists now that the deadline for accepting or declining places has passed? Or do I need to get in touch with them to find out?
  11. My daughter goes to a Street Dance class at her school run by an external teacher called Mickey. This term they're dancing to the new Bruno Mars track and last term it was Eve, 'Shake your Tambourine', so music wise it's not too far off the mark. She teaches Zumba at Beckenham Spa and I have a feeling you can take kids there too- might be worth calling them up and asking?
  12. Thank you Renata, that's good to know so we can keep our expectations in check!
  13. I have another question about the Kingsdale waiting list systems, as my child is on both the banded and scholarship lists. I assume the system with the music scholarship is one-in-one-out, so for every child that declines a place, the next child on the list gets offered a place (irrespective of banding?). With the banded waiting list, is it one list made up from children across all of the bands, or are there separate lists for each of the bands? Or is there one list, but a child of the same band has to decline for your child to get offered a place. I hope that makes sense. I guess I'm asking if the number he is on the list, the number of children who have to decline, or if it becomes more complicated than that or indeed if there are multiple lists, then many more need to leave to account for all the bands.
