  4. Another recommendation here from me. I have very thick hair and he managed to cut and tame it perfectly just before lock down. I am looking forward to safer times when I can have him cut my hair again. Also, Fede is a very lovely and funny man; no awkward 'where are you going on holiday' conversations to endure!
  5. Does anyone know if and when Kingsdale let parents know about movement on their waiting lists now that the deadline for accepting or declining places has passed? Or do I need to get in touch with them to find out?
  6. My daughter goes to a Street Dance class at her school run by an external teacher called Mickey. This term they're dancing to the new Bruno Mars track and last term it was Eve, 'Shake your Tambourine', so music wise it's not too far off the mark. She teaches Zumba at Beckenham Spa and I have a feeling you can take kids there too- might be worth calling them up and asking?
  7. Thank you Renata, that's good to know so we can keep our expectations in check!
  8. I have another question about the Kingsdale waiting list systems, as my child is on both the banded and scholarship lists. I assume the system with the music scholarship is one-in-one-out, so for every child that declines a place, the next child on the list gets offered a place (irrespective of banding?). With the banded waiting list, is it one list made up from children across all of the bands, or are there separate lists for each of the bands? Or is there one list, but a child of the same band has to decline for your child to get offered a place. I hope that makes sense. I guess I'm asking if the number he is on the list, the number of children who have to decline, or if it becomes more complicated than that or indeed if there are multiple lists, then many more need to leave to account for all the bands.
