Book in French language "La Femme qui avait deux bouches" by Alain Fleischer £20 Book in French language "La Femme qui avait deux bouches" by Alain Fleischer Broché – 6 octobre 2023 Paperback - Amazon UK £73 offered at £25 +P&P - heavy book - a collection of sshort funny stories - see blurb translated from French below. Condition is new from pet and smoke free home. A quarter of a century ago, a few astonished readers discovered the name of Alain Fleischer, until then known primarily as a filmmaker and photographer. In a single book, which seemed to condense decades of invention, the author unfolded a tone, a rhythm, and a universe where baroque merged with humor, and invention with madness—an ambitious project that brought together the imagination of Kafka, the compositions of Bartók, and the colors of Schiele, reinventing before our eyes a mythical Central Europe and its ghosts. Interweaving short novels and fables punctuated by autobiographical fragments, conjuring mirrors that refract the multiple identities of characters grappling with their duality, freeing itself from solemnity without abandoning the depth of its subtle dramas, Alain Fleischer thus established a signature and a style that would make him a unique writer in contemporary French literature. It is this dizzying body of work—"untimely, rare, and precious," astonishing in its ambition—that we now present in its definitive version, with the hope of expanding its circle of devoted admirers.

Hello everybody, I am posting on EDF as this crime should have a wider audience. Yesterday around 10.30am Grant's van was stolen. White van, with all the stock and all his belongings. Please keep an eye out!! The lovely fishmongers who comes up from Hastings every Thursday has had his van robbed as he was delivering to our elderly neighbour. He normally trades parked outside WHSmiths by Forest Hill station, his fish is super fresh (being the catch of the previous day) Vehicle 1 Colour: White , Make: Ford transit custom, Model: Custom / Fishmongers van, Year: 2017, Type: Van, Reg. No.: YS17 MZE, Other: Westwood park UPDATE: Some time later someone spotted the van parked in Sydenham, they contacted police but by the time the force arrived (2.5 hours later) the van had gone. The thieves had come back to swapped number plates and drove off. Chance of finding it is now zero. Insurance will cover part of his losses but only a marginal fraction. He will be able to borrow one of his relatives vans to use next week. So next Thursday he should be parked in his usual spot with a different van. Please support him as much as you can. This was a terrible blow for a small business like his, he has lost a fortune and all the tools for his job. His fish is always super fresh. I regularly get sushi standard tuna and salmon from him, live crab and dressed crab when available. He literally brings over fish that was came off the boats the previous day and is very reasonably priced. His local cod is divine, could stay in the fridge without stinking for 4 days! Please if you like fish try him and support the trade of a true self made hard working. https://www.foresthillsociety.com/2019/09/forest-hills-secret-fishmonger.html

Eczema can be exacerbated by cured meats and in particular pork meat (ham, bacon etc) in particular if breastfeeding one should avoid pork and cured meats in general as it can cause skin problem to the baby. One good supplement is turmeric, there is research backed evidence that adding turmeric to our food (especially with a pinch of black pepper to improve its absorbency) helps many skin conditions.

Fernando a big Thank You for the amazing back breaking job you did in my garden on Tuesday. I just wanted to leave a note on the forum to re-iterate how pleased I am in having found an honest hard working and professional workman to help me out in tackling what otherwise would be an impossible task for me alone. Fernando arrives always on time, does what he is asked for, from digging out weeds to moving mountains of earth from one corner of the garden to the other - tidying up the mess left over from a not so "$efficient" other workmen found through the forum in the past. He is reliable, trustworthy, friendly and doesn't charge the moon! I have already booked him for the next session in my garden! Once again Thank You Fernando - I look forward to have you around again!

Here I am with another big thumbs up for Fernando! He came to my rescue when I was trying to tidy up our back garden in preparation of a big family gathering. I had almost lost hope after receiving absurdly high quotes from other highly recommended gardeners/handyman on the forum, none of whom had a degree in horticultural studies and yet they all quoted higher than qualified specialists. One even refused to come and see the garden unless I agreed upfront on a ?20 per hour per person for a minimum of two people team, making it ?40/hour minimum charge, too high price to ask per hour in my opinion no matter how efficient the team might be, you might end up easily with a ?300 bill at the end of the day. Fernando was amazing! He booked an appointment a fortnight beforehand to view the job, he was on time, listened to my needs and then came back when we arranged at a very early hour in the morning to fit in with my own schedule. He worked really hard, almost non-stop for nine hours, part of them side by side with me, helping me moving and cleaning garden furniture (he did not mind even when I accidentally sprayed him with water) as well as weeding and sweeping up the large patio he tackled the vegetable plot which had been a jungle of weeds for months! I can honestly say he is a hard working man and gets a lot done in the hours he works, he is very polite with an attention for beauty and detail and very caring: he did not let me lift anything heavy and came to my aid whenever I was trying something too challenging for my back. I have already booked him in for another couple of sessions in the coming months, he is worth every penny and he is very pleasant to have around. BY THE WAY ALL MY GUESTS WERE VERY IMPRESSED BY HOW TIDY AND NICE MY GARDEN LOOKED! Thank you Fernando!
