  3. Hi, I am looking for someone to look after my two sons (aged 8 and 6) after school (3.30-5.30/6.30) Thursdays. We live in Dulwich/Herne Hill and the boys are at Dulwich Village Infants and Dulwich Hamlet (5 min walk). After school, duties will include picking the boys up, bringing them home to help with homework and play with them. Please get in touch if you would like any more information. Anna 07795 086434
  4. Julian has recently finished a wonderful cupboard and shelving unit for us. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, really professional and a genuinely lovely guy. Our shelves are somewhat non standard and he managed to interpret our vision and build a bespoke and unique piece of furniture. Very happy to send photos if you would like to see more and would highly recommend Julian?s carpentry and design skills. Anna
  5. Village books are - you can choose your book from the shop window and swap your token. Sainsburys have the books and also WH Smith, they are open still
  6. Hi, I know there were some English lessons arranged for au pairs a while back, I'm assuming these can't be held currently (I may be wrong). If that is the case, does anyone know of any au pair suitable zoom classes? We have a new German au pair starting with us and she is hoping to pick up some lessons. Also, if anyone's au pair would like to meet up with her, I and she would be most grateful. It will have to be park meet ups, but am sure that can happen quite easily. Anna 07795 086434
  7. Does anyone know whether the hydrotherapy pool at Peckham or the children's pool at Camberwell are open? Has anyone successfully booked in? Thanks

  17. Hello, I'd be interested in hearing from any current or ex parents of this pre school. I'm considering it for my nearly 3 year old (to start in September). He's currently at a day nursery twice a week and I'm wondering whether more but shorter days is better, or whether to keep him in the routine he is used to. Having looked around a few pre schools, I liked DVPS. Any insight would be appreciated.
  18. Another recommendation for Christine Langhoff. I have recently been a client of hers to try to feel better and more 'together' after the birth of my second child. She has a great manner and is very easy to talk to. I feel she has equipped me with the tools to remain positive and 'on top of' how I'm feeling.
  19. Does anyone know where I might be able to get my second hand p&t's dodgy brake repaired? I've looked at buggy pit stop online but will probably cost the same as I bought it for with courier costs as well. Thanks
  20. Hi, Can any suggest and/or recommend any small day nurseries in SE22 area for 2 year old. Thanks

  23. Does anyone know of/can anyone recommend any baby/toddler activities next week? I am off work (teacher) with my 21 month old and my sister is visiting with her 14 month old. Any inspiration would be greatly welcomed! Thanks
  24. Hoping to draw on people's experience. Headed to Beckenham spa yesterday for one of the baby pool swim sessions with my 16 month old. Pool closed when we got there so we took him in the main pool. He was absolutely fine so happily my plan is to use 'big' pools (or learner) pools but not restrict myself to the times of the hydrotherapy pools. My experience at Crystal Palace rd fusion are that it's quite cold (swam a lot there when pregnant). Can anyone shed any light on the temp of other pools around? Doesn't have to be warm, just bearable for skinny toddler. Thank you
  25. Hello, Apologies if this question has been posed before. I'm looking for inspiration of how to keep busy with my 14/15 month old during the summer holidays (I'm a teacher with term-time only childcare). Aside from playing in the garden/park, swimming, play dates, I'm really wondering if there are any play schemes/play groups that run over the summer so that my little boy can continue to play with other children. Thanks in advance.
