Please can anybody help....We've had a loft conversion done and have been really unhappy with the way in which the builder has spoken to us and dealt with the project. Basically ran way over time. Although the builder did say they would fix a few things I put it all in writing as per the advice of the CAB. Now the builder refuses to remove the scaffolding until all money is paid upfront which is basically breaking our contract which clearly states I can keep up to 5% of the cost until three months after the build. Feel like we are being held to ransom. Anybody got any ideas. And yes, it is a local company so be warned. They put FMB logo on their paperwork but aren't actually members. Come across as being super friendly at the beginning but then just take the money as quickly as possible at the beginning and then just leave you hanging.....I've been to the CAB but just wondering if anybody else has had similar?....

I did write to fusion but they couldn't give me a good reason why it was no longer available. I've lived in the area for over 15 years and had a swim membership about 12 years ago which I upgraded to full gym about 4 years ago. Funny that now they've had the 'refurbishments' done, you can't get the swim membership anymore. Seems like a money swindling exercise to me rather than offering different packages depending on people's needs and abilities. Like I said, a total rip off.

Why can't you get a swim only membership? Why do I have to pay for a full membership if I have a medical condition that means swimming is the only exercise that I can do? Seems a bit unfair that everybody pays the same fee regardless of what fees people actually want to access.

Would be good to do afternoon sessions, but I am a teacher so work during the week hence the weekend slot. Could be on a Saturday afternoon rather than morning. Or one at both time slots if that suits.

I am thinking of setting up some weekend music sessions for parents and children. They would either be in Nunhead or close to Peckham Rye. I am a qualified teacher and have taught nursery to Y1 for the past 8 years. I also worked for various companies that ran similar sessions in West London before I qualified as a teacher. Is this something that people would be interested in or is the market already saturated with this kind of thing? Age groups would be 0-4 and then 5+. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.
