  1. Sorry for the inaccurate pricing i couldn't remember whether it was ?2.50 or ?3.50 and being London I went for the higher 😄
  2. I bought a standard white loaf from there, it was ?3.50. Good bread, they have a range of breads sourdough, whole meal and some French bread that was ?10 a stick not sure what was so special about that. Will get my bread from there going forward now
  3. Rosie's cafe have openned their Peckham branch just down from Pedler
  4. On the tfl website it says the overground might run all night from 2017. I for one would support any attempt to make this a reality.
  5. If you google private gp London details came up. I managed to get an appointment same day with one on bond at. Cost ?100 but was worth it
  6. http://www.gomadrid.com/activity/children/madrid-zoo-and-parque-de-atracciones.html You can get a cable car there too
  7. It was same for me as Aquarius moon described. I remember once acting up to my mum when I was taken with her for a pub lunch with her friend. I was doing the usual kid 'it's not fair, I'm bored!!' saying it wasn't fair as I wasn't allowed to get down from the table. My mum just said to me that it was boring for her taking me to the park and sitting there while I played but she still did it as she knew I liked playing, Therefore wouldn't it be nice if I did some colouring in at the table so she could do something she liked (catching up with her best friend over lunch.)I was 7 ish and realised that that was a fair deal and went back to colouring in.
  8. The hope is good, been there a couple of times - good atmosphere and selection of beers but then they know what they are doing, it's part of the antic pub chain
  9. Also try the food assembly they have a collection point in Nunhead
  10. The nines is at the back of the bussey and does good cocktails and the 4 quarters is great Also the Rye is a good pub if Pedler won't let you in
  11. Are you planning to open at weekends?
  12. I would also like to add my recommendation for Saied. Saied & Mick the carpenter have spent the past week turning my nightmare overgrown and unloved garden into a paradise. They built a new shed, replaced fence panels. extended the patio and removed over 3 tonnes over poor soil and rubble from the garden before Saied laid turf and planted plants. We have a lovely Oasis of calm now, I can't believe it's the same place. During the whole process Saied kept me up to date with the progress asked me what plants I wanted and made suggestions. He gave through advice about looking after the plants as we are gardening novices and has offered to pop round anytime we need help He's a great guy and it's been a pleasure to meet him and use his services Highly recommend

  16. Hi I was nearly hit on the zebra crossing by the ed tavern. The guy was to busy looking at the cyclist next to him. I ended up with my hands on the bonnet of the car. I photographed the number plate ( the driver was not pleased) and then by happy coincidence met two police men at the leisure centre. I gave them an outline of what happened and the number plate and they said to he that as I wasn't injured and there wasnt actually an RTA as a result of the driver not paying attention there wasn't really anything they could do. So I don't know if it's worth you calling 101
  17. I've been moisturising since 18 - like my mum and grand mum, who said it was best to start before you need it. I use Kiehls products however the fail safe thing is to use sun cream on your face every day & also on your hands as they are give away to your age. I use Kiehls daily factor 50 but any factor 50 will do the job also never use hot water on your face ( or the bust area - another age giv away). I also use anti oxidant night cream and eye cream but I truly believe it's the sun cream that is really doing the magic. I'm 33 soon to be 34 but quite often people think I'm 28 so I'll assume all the moisturising has paid off.
  18. I was told when I purchased the founder membership that 12 months will start from when the cinema opens but in the meantime the membership is valid at other picture houses
  19. I've used two different ones one dirt cheap and the other in that region, both required continual chasing it's the nature of the beast I'm afraid
  20. I would highly reccomend David too. he came round to fit some new radiators and he was quick, firendly, fair priced and even went and got a new toilet cistern when we found out it had cracked. He will be the only plumber I will use from now on.
  21. I called the picture house ed number today to get founder membership, the lady on the phone said that they will be opn late December/early Jan. I can only assume she hasn't seen the cinema as it stands
