I have noticed this too, 2 new posters up near me this week. I heard that some cats are being taken and used for dog baiting to prepare the dogs for fighting. This is happening in SE london. Not sure how true it is but something to bear in mind. I don't let my cat out after dark. We have several regular cat visitors to our garden. One is an unneutered tom cat - a black cat called Rudy. He is so horribly thin, has the loudest miaow i have ever heard, and likes to spray everyhwere and begs for food. He is in our garden or neighbours constantly. Not sure who owns him but he is not properly looked after.

Thanks everyone, this is getting exciting! I am exploring venues so will keep you all posted. It will be for charity to raise money for children affected by domestic violence (I do this as a day job and currently one third of all services are having to close due to cuts). Hi everyone, sorry I have been away. Really excited to see lots of interest, from sellers and bands! I'm definitely doing this, will check out venues. Suggestions welcome! Would anyone be interested if I was to organise a craft fair locally? It would be for handmade items only, maybe with some music going on as well. I used to organise this kind of thing before I moved to london, and east dulwich seems like the perfect place to try it again. There is a huge revival going on of handmade crafts.... So I was wondering who would be up for it, either as a seller or who would want to visit something like that? Also venue ideas would be great! Thanks!

The new line will go to Highbury and islington and from there you can get a to Welwyn.:)

Brilliant! Thanks for this info. I use the east london line to get to work in Shoreditch and it is so much easier than the other options. Also my boyfriend has to go to Welwyn every week for band practice (!) so will be good for him too.
