Transporting cakes or cupcakes

Alternatively there is a new Sugarcraft shop at the top of lordship lane where you can buy cake boxes...they are up near the vets & the bath store. -
Having nagged my poor husband for 5 years to let us move back to Oxfordshire where we grew up, he has finally accepted a job offer there and we are moving in a few weeks time. Only trouble is, having had my 1st baby here a few weeks ago, I'm now beginning to panic slightly about what on earth I'm going to do without the cafes and shops of Lordship Lane on my doorstep! We're moving to a house just outside a village that is so remote you can't even drink the tap water - talk about going from one extreme to another!

Hi everyone, Just checking people are up for meeting at the gardens as usual tomorrow? Could really do with some adult conversation after the day I've had today - just realised that trying to do a days work from home with a 7 week old baby isn't exactly straight forward! Emily, lovely to meet you and Elliot at the crooked well on Friday. Unfortunately I am rarely in London on weekends but am definately keen to keep going to the crumpet thing (which could happily lead on to a cheeky lunchtime glass of vino?!) Not around this Fri but will hopefully see you there the one after. Xxx

Acupuncturist recommendations for speeding things up?

I also saw Dan at Dulwich therapy rooms & went into labour the nExt day after only 1 session - would highly recommend him. Hope all goes well for you...very best of luck! Xx -
Huge congratulations Jo, Jane, Hollie & all other new mummies - looking forward to meeting the new arrivals. Getting SO jealous now....I'm on my 3rd cup of raspberry leaf tea already this morning to try to bring on labour - I'm so ready now meet my bump! Don't think I'll make it today as am just getting over a horrible cold & don't want to give it to all the little ones but hopefully will be back to normal by tomorrow so will catch up with some of you then. Lorna - welcome to the forum! Tomorrows get together is at the Gardens on Peckham Rye so if you are around then then the more the merrier. Alternatively I think today's meet up is at Cafe Provencal in Herne Hill & people are meeting there from 10am onwards. Olivia xxx

Hi everyone, Congratulations on all the new arrivals...getting very jealous now - I still have 4 long weeks to go! Don't think I'll be able to make a meet up today either as have to get the car to Woolwich to have the gearbox looked at....would much rather meet up to talk babies! Will try to make Thurs (work depending) but have my last job on Friday so may be frantically prepping for that. As of next week though should be free for any catch ups. Xxx

Can anybody help? We are expecting our 1st baby in April & have started to think aboout what we are going to need to buy. I've had a look on various websites for a suitable pram but there is so much choice its all rather overwhelming. Ideally I am after something lightweight, easy to fold down and good for dog walks in the countryside as we will be moving out of London. Oh yes, and something that the baby will fit in as long as possible at a not outragous cost...am I asking too much?!
