  1. Alternatively there is a new Sugarcraft shop at the top of lordship lane where you can buy cake boxes...they are up near the vets & the bath store.
  2. Having nagged my poor husband for 5 years to let us move back to Oxfordshire where we grew up, he has finally accepted a job offer there and we are moving in a few weeks time. Only trouble is, having had my 1st baby here a few weeks ago, I'm now beginning to panic slightly about what on earth I'm going to do without the cafes and shops of Lordship Lane on my doorstep! We're moving to a house just outside a village that is so remote you can't even drink the tap water - talk about going from one extreme to another!
  3. Is anyone still planning on meeting at the park today? Need to get out - I'm drowning in my ironing pile... Xxx
  4. Right, I can put this off no longer...this new coffee & cake lifestyle I've happily adopted is starting to take its toll - I'll see you there for power pramming on Monday (this is going to hurt). Olivia xx
  5. Oh dear, bad luck Lorna- If it's any consolation I also need a rug for our bedroom carpet to cover up the permanent little reminder of Charlie's home birth...not very glamourous this parenting lark is it?! See you all on Thurs xx
  6. Hi everyone, Just checking people are up for meeting at the gardens as usual tomorrow? Could really do with some adult conversation after the day I've had today - just realised that trying to do a days work from home with a 7 week old baby isn't exactly straight forward! Emily, lovely to meet you and Elliot at the crooked well on Friday. Unfortunately I am rarely in London on weekends but am definately keen to keep going to the crumpet thing (which could happily lead on to a cheeky lunchtime glass of vino?!) Not around this Fri but will hopefully see you there the one after. Xxx
  7. I also saw Dan at Dulwich therapy rooms & went into labour the nExt day after only 1 session - would highly recommend him. Hope all goes well for you...very best of luck! Xx
  8. Good idea...would love to meet for drinks - can do either 4th or 11th so count me in! Xxx
  9. Huge congratulations Elizabeth...look forward to meeting little Bertie. I'm definitely up for the gardens tomorrow - hoping the rain holds off long enough to be able to walk there! See you all tomorrow, Olivia xxx
  10. Yep - I feel your pain! Am sitting here with a hot, wriggly, crying colicky baby...not much fun! Xxx
  11. Looking forward to tomorrow and introducing Charlie to everyone! Aiming to get there early (ish) as have a midwife's visit at 12.30. See you all tomorrow xx
  12. Hi everyone, Very excited to announce the safe arrival of Charlie Barton at 4.30 yesterday after rather a dramatic unplanned home birth! He is a very mini 5lbs 9oz and is perfect. Probably a bit optimistic to think I will make Tuesdays meet up but hopefully see you at the next one. Olivia x
  13. Huge congratulations Jo, Jane, Hollie & all other new mummies - looking forward to meeting the new arrivals. Getting SO jealous now....I'm on my 3rd cup of raspberry leaf tea already this morning to try to bring on labour - I'm so ready now meet my bump! Don't think I'll make it today as am just getting over a horrible cold & don't want to give it to all the little ones but hopefully will be back to normal by tomorrow so will catch up with some of you then. Lorna - welcome to the forum! Tomorrows get together is at the Gardens on Peckham Rye so if you are around then then the more the merrier. Alternatively I think today's meet up is at Cafe Provencal in Herne Hill & people are meeting there from 10am onwards. Olivia xxx
  14. Sounds great, see you at 11 at Lucas's xx
  15. I'm free tomorrow & would love to meet up...have an appointment with the midwife at 9 but other than that am free. Olivia xxx
